Had an amazing night at Prasini Tenta. We actually stumbeled across this restaurant by mistake, but are very happy we did. Breathtaking view over the city. We went after the sunset and all the lights over Athens were amazing. We had eaten not so long ago so we had salad and some wine. This was probably the best Ceasars salad I’ve had and the price was reasonable considering the view and how proffesional the staff is compared to any small restaurant/cafe down in the city centre. Our waitress Joana was really nice and we 100% recommend this place for a romantic night out.

We ordered the avocado toast that was amazing. The presentation was amusing with cucumber curls (go with me on this) in addition to cherry tomatoes and olives. The avocado served as a base to pull it all together. On top of it all - the view was amazing. We ate dinner and watched the sun set/moon rise over the Acropolis. You can't get better than that!

On a very hot summer day, this lovely cafe is a life saver on your way down (or up) the Lycabettus Hill. We had an espresso freddo (cold coffee with ice cubes and a little sugar), and it may well be our best soft drink in Athens this summer. The smiling waiter kept on bringing lots of complimentary water with ice cubes - and we drank it all as the temperature was well above 33 degrees Celcius. The views over Athens are brillant from the cafe - almost better than from the hill top, But take the well maintained footpath up hill yourself and take a look,

I went there twice in the past two months. One was during brunch time to see the views with full light and the second one later in the evening, just before sundown to experience the same views during sunset and darkness. The views are spectacular either way and absolutely worth the trip up the Lycabettus hill in the middle of Athens. You can see the Acropolis, Syntagma Square, the Panathinaikon Stadium, and everything in between and around them, all the way down to the port of Peireas and parts of the "Athens Riviera"! The place is a café-bar with a good enough menu for light meals and drinks and can serve a lot of people. The service was good both times, the food was decent and the drinks we had were good. Overall it was a very nice experience both times and we would go there again and recommend it to anyone that wants to experience a nice view of most of Athens while enjoying a bite or a drink.

It was not bad and the view erases all errors. But when you ask for a cheese-free dish and it comes with it then it is painful. When you pay in cash and ask for a Rating it is not brought to you but you are given purchase orders instead. Probably a way for the waiter to scratch or for the boss to black out. I didn’t really appreciate the process. Otherwise the quality is correct but the view is fantastic so go for a drink.

The shop has an amazing view, but unfortunately it has rude waiters!!! They kept the slightly bigger tables as a reserve, while of course they don't have a reservation in reality, in order to serve larger groups!!! Even if they haven't put the reserve sign on the table, they come and kick you out and very often there have been misunderstandings with customers!!! In the cafe area, they don't have enough umbrellas for the sun, with the result that customers can't sit at most of the tables, because of the sun!!! I wonder if they don't have money to buy other umbrellas!!! Also, if you ask them to explain some of the culinary terms on the menu, they treat you ironically and condescendingly, as if in their villages their mothers and grandmothers used to make tempura pecorino (I dared to ask what tempura is and they made fun of me)!!! By the way, we make temura with seafood and vegetables!!! Cheese with porridge, in Greece we call it saganaki!!! Mercy then!!! A lot of style and rudeness, without understanding the boundaries between politeness and respect - rudeness and irony!!! It's a shame because the location is fantastic!!! Unfortunately, the lack of education of the company's employees degrades the natural beauty of the area!!!

After taking the funicular to the top of Mount Lycabettus, seeing the little church at the tope and taking some amazing photos over Athens, we decided to have lunch at the Prasini Tenta restaurant at the top at the top of the mountain. The nicest thing about this place is that they do not fall into the trap of offering bad service just because they know they have a captive audience. The restaurant is great, the service really nice, the food and drink perfectly fine, the views astounding and overall the experience was wonderful. Thank you Prasini Tenta.

Incredible place for a coffee or snack with stunning views of the city. Our service on a late Friday morning was terrible, but the drinks, view and location made up for everything. Try stopping by at night as well.

If you want to throw your money just for the view, it has good (information, there is better view in the parking lot). We ordered drinks and honestly it takes a lot of effort to taste something worse. For example, the daiquiri simply had no drink in it (in fact, there was a glass of ice), and the whiskey was barely visible on the glass. We said economy, but that touches the limits of shame. And the prices were very high (especially if you take into account the quality of the product). I had a bad impression of the waitress' behavior, which was rude when I pointed out that I had got the wrong drink. What to say, frankly if my yesterday's experience is the usual and not the exception, it is a shame to reward such a business with the presence of customers (the one cyclone entered, because the system does not allow you to score with any).

We marched to the top of the hill to take in the views and as we marched down, decided to stop here for drinks and nibbles and take in the vastness of Athens. Much better view from here than the top of the hill and all the masts up there. Service was excellent and this place has the most sophisticated toilet cleaning system we have ever experienced!!!!

If there were more stars, I would give them to the amazing view and especially to the staff who served us, Mr. Lysippos and Ms. Joanna. The food was perfectly cooked with very fresh produce. In the shop there are different levels where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner and even very nice cocktails. Congratulations.

Appalling service. The waiters just did not come over to us. We caught there attention multiple times, but they just looked at us and walked away. They were offering drinks to everyone but us, and were getting angry when we spoke to them. I don’t recommend it.

Stopped by to see the sunset and have a glass of wine. We arrived at 8:30-9:00 pm and told the hostess we only had time for a glass of wine. We had to leave by 9 pm. She said a great table was available in between reservations. The people had reserved for 9:30 so she said ok. The view of the Parthenon and sunset was wonderful. We departed at 9, and I am so glad we stopped here. The dinner menu looked great, and the place was busy. Romantic, in a high-end neighborhood, great staff, and ambiance. We booked an Athens by Night Private Custom Tour with Welcome Pickups along with our airport transfer. Both were easy and great guys in nice late model, clean vehicles.

Came to Athens for few days.Visited this place. ...What to say , service very poor, food quality bad , coffee not drinkable the only thing that saves this place and keeps its going is the view ... Worth to visit for the view and pictures but not to sit and enjoy it up here

In the most beautiful view of Athens "the green tenta” reopened. From snacks, light food using Greek products, selective wine list, coffee, drinks. And above all with pleasant staff that pleasantly surprises you like an oasis in the usual bad service of Athens. Visit it at sunset… ..
