From the grillwe sardines to the exceptional service with a smile (don't miss the fava), your meal will be crowned by the aura and view of the Acropolis. Don't miss!

With a nice view and a cool location, this restaurant is worth your stop in Athens to eat some seafood or vegetarian. I had pasta with cheese, onion, tomatoes, capers, olives and pepper and it tasted so good. We had very tasty and refreshing watermelon...for free as a desert!More

Surprised since it is surrounded by so called "tourist-traps" but still great prizes and good food!!!

I definitely did not expect to find such a good restaurant in the most tourist part of Athens. Even though it looks like any other tourist spot, looks can be deceiving. Tasteful menu, amazing prices (considering its location), very helpful staff.

The hotel is in a great location. Close to the metro and easy walking distance to many attractions. We walked to the Archaeological Museum and the Acropolis. Both about a 20 minute walk. The hotel has lots of shopping around. You can walk the street...between Monistiraki Square and Syntagma Square which has a ton of restaurants and shopping. The hotel itself was very clean and the staff very friendly. The only negatives are the rooms are very small, the beds really hard, and my husband and I had to sleep in separate twin beds. The last wasn’t really a bug deal but just be prepared for the possibility.More

We thought we would have trouble finding somewhere nice to eat near the Ancient Agora as it's so touristy but we had a great lunch at Attalos. The wait staff were very friendly, we got a lovely table outside in the shade and even though...it was busy we didn't feel rushed at all. We had a cucumber and tomato salad, a whole grilled squid and a moussaka, all of which were delicious. The only downside was the bathrooms - they had two ladies toilets but both the doors were completely broken so you couldn't close either of them at all. I hope they fix this because it's extremely inconvenient.More

Monastiraki is a souvenir-hunting enclave with a

tiny monastery church at its center, Monastiraki
