We visited this cafe today and could not find anyone to take our order. The staff there are beyond terrible and they don’t want to help you at all. We went out of our way while exhausted and hot just to get a piece of...More
We were searching for a place to drink a coffee relatively early on a Sunday morning when we stumbled up this beautiful cafe with its verdant living room and piano playing. Magic! Food & drinks and service were good, though not amazing though. The buffet...More
I wish I could say the food was good. I wish I could say the wine & beer were cold.
My family and I were delighted to get a table on the rooftop, but waited forever to (not) be able to order anything. And of...More
Many people knew it but became even more popular from a greek movie back in 2012. Since then is one of the best downtown coffee spots that you can enjoy great coffees, amazing homemade pies, pastries and fingerfood in logical prices!

All, I found this little place on trip advisor and it was great! I had a Greek coffee and a Greek salad. The atmosphere was perfect and food so fresh. Highly recommend if you are in Athens for breakfast/lunch!

Went here with my mum and sister and we got seated on the steps. We ordered 2 greek salads and some garlic stuffed mushrooms which were so tasty. Was reasonably priced with clean toilets too. Would recommend.
We visited here twice both times for an afternoon drink and a snack. The tables and chairs down the famous steps were quirky and nice. The drinks were nice Inc the ice cappuccino and iced lemon water. We had no issue with service and found...More
Due to its proximity to the Acropolis, Plaka remains the area where the majority of foreign visitors stay and play. Its attractive features include small squares, some notable museums and the beautiful Mitropolis cathedral, as well as a host of places to stay, eat and drink. Its pedestrian zones make it a pleasant place to escape from the city’s notorious traffic. Adrianou and Kidathineon Streets contain a
number of souvenir shops, offering classier items than you will find in the Flea Market. The most rewarding section to explore is the upper reaches towards the Acropolis itself, where many old stone houses with tiled roofs have survived. Up here you can find leafier corners and the odd quaint taverna with unobstructed views of the ancient rock.
