It's a very touristy area, but a local guide told us that most of the restaurants here are frequented by locals in off-season, which was a pretty good recommendation in our book. We came to Dioskouri twice in 4 nights primarily because they were able...More

Even the most touristy places in Athens have great food! Typical Greek dishes. Fresh food. Tasty as the rest of them. Brilliant and friendly service. Amazing (and cheap) wine. Very busy area (lots of tourist footfall). Further down the street you'll find tavernas with a...More

Nice solution to have breakfast or lunch (or spend Your dinner). Staff careful & friendly. Typical Greek dishes/drinks well prepared and tasty. Quite crowded area, since it's just at the beginning of Adrianou Street.

Great view of downtown Athens. Charming atmosphere with tables set outside underneath trees. Food is tasteful with big portions at slightly higher prices. We got a potpourri of meats for 2 people which was enough for all 5 of us!

Wasn't very impressed with the food (chicken souvlaki was slightly burnt). You would expect the most simple and common Greek dish to be satisfactory, not mediocre...especially for 9 euros. They did not give us a receipt either. In this case, you are not obliged to...More

A very good restaurant in the heart of ancoent Athens! Very good service, very good food and nice decoration. It is a very good place to visit with friends and have a nice dinner.

Roman agoras, adding the quaint concept that this is
where the ancients also came to shop. Named after the
tiny monastery church at its center, Monastiraki
