Very good homemade style lunch near our apartment. Greek salad was perfect as well as our lamb chops. Quiet place in Plaka.

We ate here because of the reviews but were not impressed. Service was good, atmososphere nice but prices were very high for what they delivered. Greek salad was half the size it usually is for more money. I had the penne with chicken, it was just average nothing special. Also didn't feel the usual Greek hospitality and charm.

I found this restaurant while planning our trip to Athens. After walking by and seeing the menu on our first morning in the city, we returned for lunch. I had the giant beans and my husband had the moussaka. Both were delicious and one of our favorite meals of the trip. The restaurant was visited by both locals and tourists.... More

Was told by locals to visit this family owned restaurant and so happy we did. Ordered mousalaka, stuffed tomatoes and peppers, red fish, cabbage filled with delicious meat. Good prices and owner still there cooking and serving food!

A friend who likes this place took us there, and we enjoyed the food. It's a small but cosy place, and the service was very good. The food is traditional - simple but good. The Greek salad was as expected, the mousaka was tasty, and the sardines were a bit sloppy-prepared but good. The prices were reasonable, and we had... More

I guess we should try other restaurants in Athens, but we love the home cooking here so much we figure - why bother? We had lunch here all three days we were in Athens and one of the days - our final - we had dinner here as well. There are new changes to the set up from last year.... More

Traditional flavors but the quality can be better! The staff was fast but they made a mistake on our bill, they asked sorry and change it right away!!

Food was not bad - had the sea bream but felt they charged us triple the actual cost as we had also gone to another local restaurant which had the sea bream which was just as good but the cost was one third of that at Paradosiako.

Staying in Plaka

Neighborhood Profile
Due to its proximity to the Acropolis, Plaka remains the area where the majority of foreign visitors stay and play. Its attractive features include small squares, some notable museums and the beautiful Mitropolis cathedral, as well as a host of places to stay, eat and drink. Its pedestrian zones make it a pleasant place to escape from the city’s notorious traffic. Adrianou and Kidathineon Streets contain a number of souvenir shops, offering classier items than you will find in the Flea Market. The most rewarding section to explore is the upper reaches towards the Acropolis itself, where many old stone houses with tiled roofs have survived. Up here you can find leafier corners and the odd quaint taverna with unobstructed views of the ancient rock.
