I used to come here for drinks with colleagues but it is not the same place any more. Obviously a mainstream destination nowadays..

It is one of the worst coffee shops in Gazi. The coffees are tasteless and does not worth even a try. The prices are a bit high for the quality.

Soho bar is one the many other trendy bars in the area. We stopped there twice in the row. In August, the place was really busy full of attractive people. We were sitting outside as the seats were quite comfortable and they offered a good view. The service was a bit slow, especially on our second visit. We were given... More

The food is bad and the service is terrible. Dont even bother to waist your time in this place. We ordered some sandwiches that were basically bread, nothing inside. French fries were all soaked with oil. My Negroni was pure ice, with barely no drink on it. And dont even get me started with the service. The waiter could not... More

Is it just me or is restaurant service really bad in Athens? This Soho place needs to improve its service. The lady took my order behind me while doing something else so I had to twist my whole body to order my food. Why can't she just stand in front or beside me to take my order? Plus, every time... Decided to stop for a warm drink on a rainy evening around 8pm. Very loud music, as usual in all the cafeterias in the area. Paid 6.80 euros for two filter coffees and was charged 4 euros for a whiskey shot! Overpriced. Certainly not going back.

Soho is located in the central of Gazi square next to Thissio, waling distance from Acropolis and the Parthenon. Very nice and friendly place, mostly for group of friends. Their cappuccino is brilliant and they will always serve it with a biscuit. Decoration is great and lovely music during the night.

Ordered a weissbeer and a forest fruit smoothie. The weissbeer was nice but the "smoothie" was just fruit yoghurt. Props for getting crisps and cake on the house though.

Staying in Psirri / Gazi

Neighborhood Profile
Psirri / Gazi
Side-by-side neighborhoods Psirri and Gazi provide some of the city’s prime nightlife. The almost claustrophobic streets of Psirri feature an interesting blend of original small businesses with the restaurants, cafés and bars that have recently sprouted up. The central artery of Agion Anargiron Street has lively places to eat or drink. Further west, you can visit the peaceful ancient cemetery of Keramikos, then cross busy Pireos Street to find yourself in Gazi. With the huge Technopolis performance and art complex converted from old gasworks at its heart, you really have to come at night to appreciate this maze of bars at its best, although a daytime stroll will allow you to admire the excellent street art.
