This place is quite unique with its great restaurant, pool, shrimp farm and crocodiles. We got there too late to feed the crocs but heard all about it from our host, Bob. He told us a lot about the farm and the ongoing projects. We had a lovely dinner, shrimp of course! All of the staff were fun and attentive. Drinks were great too! We sang Karaoke with the staff and other patrons after dinner. What a hoot! Great way to spend our last night in Belize! (This place is very near the international airport.)

This place is off the road, quiet, and amazing! You sit up high and can see for miles. We went at sunset and it was gorgeous. They make all the food very fresh and out where you can see it. The drinks were fantastic too! Definitely worth it to be out of all the junk food of other places!

This place was amazing for bird life and we walked the trails with our guide and saw some great birds. They also have American Crocodiles that were rescues and you can feed them for a small fee (they provide you with the food). We didn't do this but was cool to see them. Bring Bug spray if you walk the trails.

I went to this establishment last week with my family and was pleased with the experience. They allowed us to feed crocodiles and go to the roof to see the sunset. The food did not take long and the shrimp tasted fresh. The staff there does a good job as well.

It was awesome ordering shrimp from an actual shrimp farm! Our food was very fresh and tasty. The owner was extremely nice and informative. Once there you have the opportunity to view and feed crocodile and there is also a nice, elevated viewing station. Finding the restaurant was a little tricky but well worth it when we did.

Went here a few times and was never dissapointed. Albeit one order was forgotten about, but luckily our experience was so pleasant it didn't really phase us. When you pull up you may feel you took a wrong turn as its out in what seems the middle of nowhere...fear not! If you've been looking for a locale to cool off while sitting outside, there is a steady breeze that passes through. The servers were extremely friendly and attentive. I can't remember his name but he's a tall man with a very personable demeanor...anyways, very funny and helped us out with some travel tips. The food - if seafood/shrimp is what you came for than you got it. Shrimp alllll over the menu 😊 however, if you have someone in your party looking for something else there are definitely some options. I had the coconut curry shrimp and it was fannnnnntastic. The second time around I tried the garlic butter..again delicious. We even met one of the owners (from Canada) and he gave us a wonderful description and brief history of the land it is located on. Actually we learned a lot 😊 After your meal you may feel inclined to feed the alligators some chicken (6 bucks a bag) but bring some gloves, or hand sanitizer. So, here you have it...beautifully lit dining area after dark, wicked meal, a chance to feed some rescued gators, and if you want to take a walk up the tower afterwards it'll make your heart skip a beat or two (no lie, its a sketchy trek up, but not bad once your at the top!!)

Awesome food and view! Not sure how the drive would be at night though but the place is great during the day. Wanted to return but didn’t get a chance, can’t wait to return when they have their pool built

Captain Hook’s is located in the middle of a shrimp farm and offers wonderful views of the entire area. The choices of shrimp dishes and alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks 🍸 is great. Service was wonderful and very casual.

Ate dinner one evening. Shrimp, shrimp and more shrimp. Its a shrimp farm for gosh sakes. My shrimp was a tad overdone, but I found that several places we ate, so maybe that's a thing in Belize. Nicely seasoned, cold beer and one of the family members was fun to talk to. He apparently knew the precise time that the mosquitoes come out because, not 5 minutes after he asked if we needed bug spray, I started getting bit like crazy! I'd say it was a bit out of the way, but everything is a bit out of the way. If you have a car, just go with the flow and go wherever suits your fancy, including here.

The restaurant is an open-air place with a great view! But for an evening meal, you would need to be covered in Deep Woods Off, the mosquitoes were attacking us like crazy! We ended up getting our food to go. It was delicious and so were our drinks while we waited!!

Had a couple hours to kill before catching our flight back to the states and stumbled upon this little gem of a restaurant. My wife had the coconut shrimp which were wonderful and I had the chicken fingers which were tasty. The owner came by and gave us a tutorial on shrimp aquaculture and we went to look at the rescue crocodiles afterwards. This is a wonderful little place that is definitely worth the side trip.

Relaxed dinner outdoors overlooking the shrimp ponds. Small menu but we enjoyed everything we ordered. One person in our group ordered chicken strips and commented to os how fresh they were. Service was excellent.
