Lobster !

2 visits, in 2 weeks. We each had the lobster the first visit, mine was a half, my husband a whole. Huge and delicious with a choice of 2 sides. What a meal. The second time I just had the pumpkin soup which came with a beautiful toasted garlic bread, simply delicious (had the chef drizzle a little olive oil on top) and my husband just loved the ribs. We also had the coconut prawns. In an area of gorgeous ocean view restaurants it’s hard to step off the beach or marina to try something without a view - but go for it. Pleasant servers.

Elegant dining area. EVERYthing was delicious and perfectly prepared: pina coladas, pumpkin soup and garlic bread appetizer, seafood pasta and prawn kebab entres, and chocolate indulgence dessert--with a surprise sparkler on top for my wife's birthday! Service was wonderful: Sharmain was top tier: professional, cheerful, helpful, prompt, and an overall delight. Best meal and service in Antigua yet!

Friendly but far too slow

Ok, but certainly not amazing. Not worth the price. Service was friendly but extremely slow, we were left without drinks several times and my husbands starter arrived 15 min after I’d finished mine. I had the coconut prawns, they tasted floury from the batter used, though the prawns were cooked well. I moved onto scallops for main and they lacked flavour. My husband had the fish skewers for starter which he said was cooked well and he said the goat curry for main was amazing. The starter size of fish skewers was the same price as the main. The main portion of the dish was served at the next table and had additional accompaniments for the same price! If the speed of service could be sharpened up and meals served at the same time it would be a huge improvement! Refinement is required, just because a dish is plated well doesn’t mean it will be tasty.

Slow and pretty disappointing

We had high hopes having seen good reviews but the service was painfully slow. This was no fault of the waiting staff, we understand it was due to shortages in the kitchen. My chicken Kiev (when it finally arrived) was absolutely delicious, one of the best I’ve had anywhere. However my husband’s goat curry was more like a bone curry, he rarely complains but did so on this occasion and it was knocked off the bill. We’d been there over an hour before our meals arrived. It’s unlikely that we’ll be paying a return visit.

Expectations were high! Reality not so sadly. The first meal of six arrived followed fifteen minutes later but three more meals the fourth came out fifteen minutes later finally ten minutes later the last meal arrived. All fries were cold. Three lobster thermidors although were big portions the amount of cheese ruined it, tasted like blue cheese. The Kiev was tiny! Rib eye was average, the curried lobster was ok. $300us as they took drinks off the tab. Don’t waste your time or money. The waitress was lovely, apologetic said kitchen could do better.

Unpleasant Dining Experience I recently dined here and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The service was incredibly slow, and the staff seemed disinterested in attending to customers. To make matters worse, the food quality was subpar. Several dishes were off, leaving me with a less-than-appetizing meal. The overall atmosphere was overshadowed by the staff's rudeness, which further dampened what should have been an enjoyable dining outing. I hope the restaurant takes these concerns seriously and works towards improving their service and food quality. My visit left me thoroughly unhappy, and I wouldn't recommend here to others based on this experience.

So disappointing, my husband took me here for a Valentine’s Day meal, booked on 4 February. Our reservation wasn’t written in their book, we did get a table though! After a while they took our order, starters and mains. My husband received his starter, mine didn’t arrive, kept asking where it was, 1/2 hour later it arrived 😏. Food was ok, even though we ate it separately. Mains arrived, mine was wrong, seafood pasta with cream sauce not tomato sauce. It transpires we were given someone else’s food, they were still waiting after about 3/4 hour! Other people were waiting over an hour for food! After complaining, the waitress agreed to remove the service charge, however when I said I didn’t eat the pasta as it was wrong, she said they would remove the cost of the pasta, but put the service charge on the amended bill!!! All in all, what would have been a lovely valentines meal turned into a bit of a farce! Such a shame because generally the food is very good, however the service leaves a lot to be desired.

Must have been having an off night on Christmas Eve as many diners were served the wrong meal, waited 1 1/2 hours for our bill. Food was very good, loved my lobster which is why I came however service was not good at all. Actually became rather funny as we waited solo long for our bill, totally ignored by servers. We were not the only ones, again must have been an off night. We eventually got up and waited near the check out area for our bill which was incorrect the first timme. The best part was watching our table which was not getting cleared and the gal at the nearby table grabbed my 1/2 full glass of wine and drank it herself!!!

Miracles? It's astonishing they're still in business. Considering its location, I assumed Miracles would be an ideal choice since it was within walking distance. However, convenience was the only positive aspect. Without their location they are no different from a cook shop. It's extremely frustrating to wait over an hour for drinks and food when the place isn't even busy. The food we ordered was presented poorly and lacked the vibrant flavors one would expect from a Caribbean-themed restaurant. The staff appeared eager, but it was evident they lacked proper training, which ultimately falls on management. The cocktails were average and lacked any creativity or flair. Lacking garnish and excessively strong on the alcohol was just disappointing. The restaurant seems to be going through an identity crisis it seems unsure of its own concept. I'm puzzled as to why there's sand outside on the lawn of a restaurant that's clearly not located on the beach. My husband, who is usually very understanding, wanting to leave early due to his frustration, spoke volumes to me. I won't be returning, especially with so many better restaurants in Antigua. Miracles really needs to step up their game for an "established" restaurant. Don’t recommend.

The worst experience I have ever had in any country including my own. It took 1 hour to just get water. After an hour and a half they told us they didn’t have 4 of the fish dishes we ordered. They never brought 5 dinners and charged not only for every thing we ordered even though we received less than half of the food, but they also added dishes on the bill we never received. The 4 entrees that were brought (there were 9 of us) all came at different times. I wouldn’t suggest this place to my worst enemy. The people that work there are beyond obnoxious. I have never written a bad review in my life as I never want to hurt someone’s business and understand people have off days. However, want they did was so egregious (and this isn’t even the half of it)

We have appetizers and ordered 2 times lobster. After 90 minutes we had nothing but drinks. After 2 hours waiting I finally demanded the bill, I was still seriously asked if I want to remove the food from the bill. Luckily, there was still toast with cheese in the property. Never again

Dismal experience - could have done better at home! No atmosphere, slow slow service - the claim was the restaurant was busy - chance would be a fine thing! No plantain in a Caribbean restaurant, octopus totally over cooked, tough & chewy! No large bottles of local still water, instead sparkling water imported from Italy. Wish we hadn’t bothered and think the local Antiguan ladies at the next table thought the same.

Fun place, solid food, extremely nice staff

At first glance it felt like this restaurant was getting most of its business from a captive audience in the Jolly Roger community. I was a little concerned because we got into Antigua late and this was the closest place that was serving local fare and I had no plans to try a burger, pizza or the local Italian places. My wife had the lobster roti, I had the curry goat, our friends had the lobster thermador and salmon. All of it was very good. I would eventually find better curry on the trip, but I sure was happy in the moment. Try I think you will like it and though we ventured further away for most of our meals this was my favorite in the immediate area. Sorry didn’t take pics for the meal.

Terrible service, an evening to forget

Been to this restaurant 3 times in the last few years. In my books three things are a must to make a diner enjoyable and memorable a good atmosphere, good food and great service. A good atmosphere they have, the food is very good, but an evening in December they had a terrible waitress serving us. I can only assume it was a new employee because any restaurant that continued to serve their customers the way we were served would be out of business in a month. Simple examples of this one evening’s problems, a rocking table that simply did not allow us to deposit our drinks, our multiple requests to resolve the situation were simply ignored. Missing drinks after requesting twice and finally a bill that was missing two of the main courses. I am an honest person when things like that happen but we were all so pissed off we decided not to have it corrected. Small consolation for a terrible evening.

Miracle’s is modelled around the popular restaurant ‘Karen’s Diner’, known for advertising an unpleasant dining experience, in which staff are insulting to customers. However, unlike Karen’s Miracle’s poor service is not deliberate and is in fact down to poor recruitment and training decisions and a general lack of care towards customers wellbeing and overall service. In other words, if you want run belly and to be publicly humiliated by rude and abrasive staff..Miracles is the gift that keeps on giving. Never have I been served such poorly stored, tasting and cooked food, and when I raised this with staff not only was I shouted and talked about, but they escalated the scene. I am not a confrontational person by any means, and was left distraught. I’m not sure what’s worse.. my frequent trips to the ladies room after eating there, my nightmares from the unpleasant staff or my empty purse from the money they stole (the food was not worth the cost by any means). Please train your staff on food hygiene and customer service, or the miracle that is may just end up the miracle that WAS. Xoxo
