We ate here. twice before the Covid imposed shutdown and have ordered takeout since the shutdown.Absolutely great food...great pizza, pasta and fish options. Good bar options. Sits on the water so well worth the view as well
Celebrating special events during this Covid 19 pandemic, can be very challenging. Thank God for place like Al. Porto. With limited staff, the wait could have been problematic had it not been for an employee named Okielia Coates (I had to ask her name) ....She served, bartended, set tables etc., etc. All with a cheery, pleasant smile. Even a haughty laugh when teased about her multi-tasking.
The food was good. Being right on the water front, (actually on the water) was an added treat as we were able to watch the boats come up to the pier to collect their orders and be served by, guess who? Okielia. Kudos to Okieila, Kudos to Al Porto.More
I wish i can give this restaurant a negative 10 review. We arrived from a boat trip and the staff never said hello we tried to sit down and someone without a mask during this covid era said we have to wash out hands the...restaurant was completely empty yet they said reservation was made at 6:30 none arrived but we still didn’t mind and sat down. As we sat one of the staff members was bothered by a bag we left along a column and was super ride about it we stayed because we were waiting for out taxi. I would never recommend this place. Antiguans are supper friendly i guess this restaurant is instructed to do the opposite. never again !More

We went here twice whilst staying at Coco bay resort in August this year. Both times for dinner , and both times were excellent . We had the lasagne and chips first visit which was delicious and piping hot and freshly cooked. The 2nd visit..., my fiancé had the steak , and I had the chicken escalope ( see photos attached)
The portions were huge and everything tasted really well seasoned , and cooked to perfection. We are really foodies and we’re both impressed with the standards. All the staff were nice and polite too. If we go back to Antigua we would visit again.More
We always go to Al Porto at least once, sometimes more. The pasta never disappoints. It is more of what you will find "at home" as far as marina atmosphere, but its fun and the food is dependably very good. Never disappoints.
We can’t believe we’ve been to Antigua a half of dozen times and never been before this last trip. I’m so glad we did. What a great restaurant on the harbor. Their pasta dishes are scrumptious, I had shrimp scampi, my husband had the fish...special,
. Yummy. The pizza was the tastiest with all the fresh ingredients. It’s a must go to restaurant. Highly recommendedMore
We didn't know they have live music on Mondays and that we needed a reservation, so they were full when we walked in off the street....but they literally grabbed a little table for us and set it up on the dock! The servers were very...sweet and friendly, and the food was excellent. I had the lobster spaghetti, which was delicious and I couldn't finish it because it was a generous portion. We had such a good time, and the music was fun, too. This is an expensive option, but wonderful.More
