Take away Friday lunch Fish & Chips

Hubby went to the Blarney & he ordered a Fish & Chip take away for our lunch today. When my husband arrived home with the food it was still nice and hot. The food was nicely placed into a disposable container and very well presented. Even the little touch, tarter sauce in an individual disposable pot was great. I must say we ate it all and enjoyed every bite. Everything about this super lunch was amazing well done will defo come back again for the same.

Class breakfast wish I had a bovine digestive system. An extra stomach would come in handy. Every thing of a really high standard. The “tattie scone / scon not scown or potatoe bread is lovely. The place is spotless clean staff are lovely. It’s always nice when your happiness makes the staff happy. Cheap as chips as well. What more would one like.

Staff really helpful speak English.They do the largest breakfast I’ve ever seen. I had the ladies breakfast which is smoked salmon scrambled eggs on toast. Word to the wise if you’re not a lover of lemon Do you let them know

Pricey Guinness!

€6.20 for a pint of Guiness I consider a bit pricey. Also, I understand it is cash only! I called in because Biddy Mulligans was closed today. There, it us €5.80 a pint and a much better location with more atmosphere. Dempseys Irish bar in Calahonda charge €5.50

First impression is that it’s a plastic Irish pub but don’t be put off it’s food is great, service is attentive and prices are fair. Tonight we had the Wednesday steak deal. Two Rib eye steaks & a bottle of wine for €40. The steak was fantastic, the best I’ve had for a long time (I’ve paid a lot more in up market places & it wasn’t anywhere near as good). We both like good wine so were slightly apprehensive about the bottle that was included, however we were pleasantly surprised by the quality. Thank you to the staff who have looked after us very well. We will definitely return.

Tis a great spot very clean and tidy great menu food is nuts and bolts but shiny nuts and bolts not too expensive either lovely staff. Not the ritz but near enough.

Gem of a place

To start we went to many establishments on our trip but the Blarney had the most amazing welcome - such friendly and attentive staff and the lunch was Brill- simply a ham/cheese butty with homemade coleslaw and salad but was so so fresh and filled the gap. Well done Blarney we will deffinatly be returning xx

Best breakfast fry-up on the coast? In Spain?

I would normally never give 5 stars to a venue of this nature - maybe I'm pretentious, but I believe that those should be reserved for the very best restaurants that serve impeccable food with service to match - but the Full Breakfast at The Blarney was really excellent and they catered perfectly for all my odd whims and requests - well scramble egg, etc. I almost feel that I have located the Holy Grail of fry-ups in Spain, hence the Excellent rating. Typical Irish hospitality and friendliness and fair value was added for no extra cost! I'll be back for more. PS: I've travelled all around Spain for over 20 years and this is certainly the best that I have had so far PPS: a few days ago I had their euro5 lunch and that was also really nice and brilliant value

Good honest food & Irish hospitality

Poached eggs on toast and a toasted sausage sandwich washed down with a milky coffee & a mug of tea , food was great and service with a La Cala smile , we loved it . Fingers crossed this madness ends soon and the tourist return .

Great Breakfast

We really enjoyed our English breakfast and loved the idea of being able to add extras to the breakfast. The coffee was great. We will certainly be back the next time we are in the area.
