Best place for seafood I know. Just think it's a bit to expensive for the service. Worth it anyway, I'll be back.

Typical Portuguese food. Sea food. Mediterranean food. Completely tasty. And the deserts? Taste it by yourself. 👌

Very disappointing. Cooking fresh good sea food does not require much. Sadly, here, they totally ruin it, trying to do complex sauces and very strange combinations, too big portions, really sad. A lot of money spent on the place I guess but they forgot the essential: a decent cook and staff. They failed big time on both.

My wife and I went to this restaurant without booking and even for a Saturday had no trouble being seated. The staff were reasonably friendly and were very efficient. We skipped the starters because we suspected that the main course would be sufficient and we were right. We had a mixed platter of lobster, crab, prawns and muscles. It came... More

It has a great view of the river and is always very busy full of families and groups of Portuguese people generally having a great time . It is not a small traditional Portuguese style... More

We had the Cataplana plate and the Espetadas. Lunch was in general well tasting, but seafood was too dry. Unfortunately, service was below expectatio and totally unfriendly. We waited for a table for more than 1 1/2 h. We received upfront a number when calling 3 h before, but had to wait that long time anyway. Despite waiting we were... More

I went to the port, to buy fish and shrimps... I'll ended up eating and hogging in the restaurant :-D Typical food good staff, welcoming northern Portuguese people. We enjoyed the environment and the simplicity of the dishes. Don't expect the urban rituals, we're eating great finger food ;-)

Staying in Praia Amorosa it's just a ten minute drive to Castelo Do Neiva and this huge restaurant overlooking the sea. We went on a saturday evening about 2000 and there were about three other tables with diners out of more than a dozen. The menus included pictures which was very helpful us as our Portuguese is too poor to... More
