It's an experience. Yes you'll pay top dollar for a regular cup of coffee or pot of tea but the room and the sense of modern history within is something special and very different to Starbucks! I visit once in a while as it's geared...More

Nice old building but thats it. Very expensive coffee which is nothing special and we were also rushed to leave.

Very expensive café with nothing special to offer.. I don't recommend it! I have been to luxury cafés before (Mozart cafe Wien, New York café Budapest) but this was disappointing

The decor, the tradition and history in this place is worth the visit. Expensive, food is good, but somewhat overrated.

The interior alone is reason enough to stop in. After admiring the dining area and feeling as though I had been taken back in time, I had a cappuccino by the window. Highly recommend taking a moment to admire this antique cafe.

Go for coffee rather than lunch or dinner. Interior was worth seeing but did not need to eat a full meal. The food was fine (not great) and expensive. There are better spots in Porto.

After Lello Bookstore, this is probably the next biggest tourist trap in Porto. A splendid old parlor of a restaurant, reminiscent of when like Van Buren was US President. If you must go in, go. You will be treated and fed well. But for nearly...More

Beautiful historic building. And that is what you pay for. Toast and coffee were of very fine quality of course but it is the stories of café culture arriving to Porto that makes this place special.

It's 25 euros each, currently. It was nice, plenty to eat, but had better at home.
