Is this place worth the hype? We stumbled upon it so had no preconceptions. Some of the less favourable reviews here… write them off as anomalies. Santini seems to be an institution. They have been making ice cream for decades and it’s easy to see...why. There is a good range of flavours on offer, with the expected standing alongside more unusual options (at least for a Brit) - including melon and various Brazilian sweet treats. The ice cream itself was delicious, creamy and not too sweet. Highly recommend for an after dinner treat.More

We had the gelato and it was delicious. Three flavors jammed together. Mmmm... Neat “olde tyme” type of place with a malt shoppe vibe, in a happening part of the city. Friendly staff. Great place to take a break on a hot summer day. Good...for kids of all ages.More
I was disappointed given the reviews. Ice cream lacked flavour and texture was a bit icey, not creamy as expected for the flavours I got. Would not return. Found much better places. Staff were lovely though
Obviously in hot weather it is good to have an ice cream. Santini ice cream however is extra special and the range of flavours makes a visit an amazing experience. The staff are helpful and very willing to explain some of the flavours which don't...translate easily. A great experience - thanks!More
Santini was very close to where we were staying and we went twice during our 5 night stay. its a very popular place - one time we went at 10pm and the queue was huge but we didn't have to wait for too long. Lots...of different flavours to choose from - my favourites were the coconut and peanut with salted caramel! Worth stopping by if you are in the area.More
The shop was very clean and well lit. The gelato was delicious and generously served. When you go, please get the peanut flavor — it’s delicious! The servers were also very gracious with tasting flavors.
The ice cream was excellent and offered many flavors to try. The interior design was nice and fresh. The staff spoke English and were very helpful.
Caremel flavour is quite good, and the shop decorations are pretty and clean. Very nice to eat here.

Good gelato ! You have to order and pay from the left hand side of the store, and then bring your receipt to the gelato aisle to be served. We tried a few, i.e. strawberry and basil, passion fruit, dark chocolate and caramel. My favourite...was caramel. I liked the burnt taste !More
Excellent ice creams that really made our day after the walk up the Torre de Clerigo. Opposite the electric Tuk Tuk tour start/end so we went again !
I love ice cream and this one is a very good ice cream. You can choose one scoop with two flavors: I choose coconut and chocolate. So delicious! You may found a queue but worth the wait.
