We had a very enjoyable dinner at Buri and will be back for more.
We stopped in on a Thursday evening without a reservation. We were shown to the upstairs dining room, which was empty. More diners arrived later.
The decor is very nice and...More
Several times visitor, first time reviewer. Taking into consideration the large amount of japanese sushi restaurants, Buri has maintained a good quality with average price.
The freestyle has never let me down on the last visits and the wine selection is not bad.
This restaurant looks nice and cozy. Perfect if you want privacy during your meal because the tables are separated with walls. The salmon tataki was the best and my favorite dish. The sushi was very good as well. All flavors were well combined together. It...More
First and foremost I must commend the staff on their friendliness: extremely helpful with all the questions we had, gave recommendations on foods and drinks, were prompt when we asked them for something (e.g. extra ginger), and even served some extra Port wine for my...More

If you want to have a Sushi Meal in Oporto, and you're around Boavista Roundabout, there's no one better than BURI.
One of my favourites Sushi Restaurant.
Do yourself a favour, and just go for a try. You won't regret it.
At lunch time you've...More

Can't get attention from staff even to sit down. Food an insult to the normally refined Japanese cuisine. Staff struggle with everything including taking an order or putting a plate on the table (thought I'd be wearing my food rather than eating it).
My girlfriend and me spent the San valentine dinner in this restaurant.
We didn't have a reservation so when we showed up there the guy told us to come back in 45 minutes and we'll have a table.
When we were back there was a...More
