Recent lunch and dinner visits to this lovely, original restaurant, tucked into an alley off the major road between between the Mercardo de Bolhao and Sao Bento train station, were completely rewarding. For lunch, the three of us walked in without a reservation late for...More

After reading a review on the 'terylene', we decided to visit Flor dos Congregados. What can we say - We loved it! This restaurant is hidden away and the decor also plays on this. We ordered the ham and cheese board, the terylene and the...More

we had dinner here for 2 nights during our vacation in Porto, this restaurant is located in a little street in the city centre with a charming atmosphere. Prices are good and the quality of food is high. They change the menu a little bit...More

We visited as part of the Taste Porto food Tour. Whilst there we tried the terylene which is a double layer pork sandwhich. The meat has been marinaded before-hand and the bread buns are crusty and warm. It was really deliciious. We also had a...More

I wish this review was like majority of others but we didn't have the same experience others did. The service was good although staff was pushed with full house. The place is really nice inside... small, intimate, and nicely appointed. Both starters we ordered, failed....More

Very good food, great atmosfere, the staff is nice and very helpful with presenting vines and menu. The stove in the middle of the resturant makes the place extra warm. On the cold winter evening and in the heart! 😉

This restaurant is well known on Porto's tourist circuit, which is usually a kiss of death for me. But the pork and ham sandwich that everyone raves about really does live up to the hype. Go here for lunch and get the sandwich, a glass...More

Flor dos Congregados is a very intimate restaurant at night with its moody lightings. Food is very good and wine pairings are fair. I'll stop by again.

Definitely a restaurant to visit when in Porto. One of the first in downtown Porto, now over 160 years old and still run by the same family. As a starter, try their Terylene sandwich, a bread bun packed with roasted pork and smoked ham which...More
