Best place for diner or lunch in Porto, wonderful met and all the Portuguese specialities. Portuguese pot (cocido), pork leg (lacon, all impressively well done ! And if you have room for dessert, enjoy !

We had dinner in this restaurant two nights running, as it was very near the hotel and it had been recommended by the reception staff. On the first night we had Pernil de Porco (roast ham hock), which is one of the restaurant’s special dishes. It was very good, and it was more than enough for two people; it would... More

We chose a traditional portuguese dish, rice with beans and small fried sardines. The rice was very well cooked, a nice flavour, the sardines were fresh, not oily, crunchy. The wine was a simple "the restaurant red of Favaios (Douro)". On the top of this, we asked a "rabanada" for dessert, that was an amaizing experience in terms of flavour... More

Antunes is one of my favourite restaurants in Porto. It has a cozy atmosphere and serves delicious typical Portuguese (mostly meat, though) food. It is an old style family-run restaurant with D. Maria, the owner and matriarch, ever present at the entrance leading mostly family members in the dining room. They have a good menu with my favourite "Pernil" (for... More

We went to this restaurant to have lunch and we were more than satisfied with everything. The main dish (fish) we ordered came with bread and rice without any extra charge. Everything was fresh, tasty and the portions were big. The staff was very charming and attentive. We paid less than 25 euro (including drinks) for 2 persons.

We were looking for an authentic portugese restaurant and this looked promising but failed to deliver. Ok food but nothing special, grilled fish with a few potatoes and rice. Trip advisor reviews overstate this restaurant.

From the front my does not look anything special. Inside op be up into a good size restaurant. Off the main tourist areas and you bees y'all go and look for this place. A good meal for 4 people with drinks and coffee €60 Euros. Worth a visit if you are nearby.

Had lunch here as it was the top rated place in Trinidade (we dropped our bags in the luggage hold at the station there - not much around there but we had time to kill before our room was ready). Great homely feel. Slightly dated decor which I think just added to its charm. Friendly staff. Helpful as we couldn't... More

A couple staying in our hotel recommended we try. Good advice. Really back to basics cooking down the authentic way. Packed with local Portuguese, a good sign. We were lucky to get a table. We had already been recommended to have either the lamb or pork (which is smoked), Also recommended not to order two mains but one to share,... More
