Even though the category of food in this restaurant is HEAVY MEAT, it is the best place to go in Porto to have the traditional FRANCISINHA made from locals for locals. The food is awesome and the service is so friendly. Do not expect fancy rooms and luxurious decoration, expect typical local ambience. And that is why you should go... More

Perhaps we were too early for lunch (arrived a few minutes after noon) but we were not made to feel very welcome at this restaurant. The francesinhas were very tasty, however. Tip: 'Verso em Pedra' serve very large portions - sharing a plate (there's a reasonable Euro 1 surcharge for a second plate) would be a good idea, and not... More

I read several reviews of Verso em Pedra. Just the name of this restaurant is already intriguing. It is located near Se and Sao Bento, two of my favorite places in Porto. I walked around up and down (and took the Funicular too), and - at 9 pm finally arrived at the restaurant. The staff was having dinner at one... More

"never judge a book by it's cover"...didn't look much from the outside, I was kind of "dont what go go there", but followed the herd. I'm glad I did. Inside, there is a nice atmosphere, with friendly staff.

Nice Restaurant in Front of the Douro river, Cheap and the food was good. We tried out a famous dish from Porto the Francesinha.

The decoration, service and live performances are quite bad. But you can eat a great Francesinha a tradition in oporto.

We were recommended this place for Francesinha and told it was one of the better places for Francesinha. Can I tell you if it is the best, I'm not sure I'm only here for 2 days. I will be digesting this for the next 2 days and won't be having another one. It is not a bad thing, I just... More

We visited Porto last November 2015 and we decided to try a typical Porto food called francesinha. It was really tasty accompanied of vinho do Porto, both ruby and green, which was produced in the family farm. The restaurant is very nice. We recommend

Bad starters, dry francesinhas and styleless place. Not good enough for Oporto standards. Great waiters though, very kind and frendly. Globally not a place to return.

Wow what a great meal and drink. Friendly staff and atmosphere. The food was so delicious. We found this on our last night otherwise we would have been there every night.
