Really poor service! Sat in the square for lunch and our order was taken quickly. Our drinks arrived but our food took about 20 mins to arrive. I asked for condiments which never arrived so I didn’t eat my chips! Would have liked another drink...but we didn’t get the offer of one! Food was ok but a bit odd - a toasted club sandwich covered in melted cheese sitting in a bowl of what I’d describe as tomato soup (my partner couldn’t eat his) saw it a lot in Porto though so think it’s a thing there.More

Ate at this restaurant last week and it was UNBELIEVABLE! We ordered x2 original pork sandwiches, a beer and sparkling water which came to 12 euros. The slow roasted pork sandwich was tender and juicy, allowing the rustic bun to soak up all of the...flavour. DELICIOUS! The staff were very friendly and service was good considering it was very popular the day we visited. I would definitely recommend this restaurant - however, BEWARE there is another restaurant a few buildings away from this one with the same name, therefore ensure that you have found the right one before entering (on the corner!). Also complied with COVID rules and regulations with all staff members wearing a mask and encouraging outdoor eating.More

Very good. Just a simple and great pork sandwich! Great for a quick snack or even having lunch or dinner. Pair it with a beer and the fries and you won't get disappointed. Also try the "Caldo verde", it's very good! The service is very...good as well.More

This place threads the needle for tourists - they make it easy to access traditional food without being a trap and without sacrificing quality. We tried a bunch of stuff on the menu and it was all good. Get a bottle of wine and take...in the patio and the friendly staff.More

We ate here for lunch and weren't disappointed (despite what some reviewers say). This isn't fine dining, but for the price the food was very good and hot. The roasted pork with cheese in a roll with fries really hit the spot, the pork was...beautifully slow cooked and just melted in the mouth. The queue to get served said it all and it wasn't just tourists.More

Delicious pork in a crispy bun! Our Airbnb host recommended this spot and we were not disappointed. We enjoyed this, paired with beer and sangria.

If you’re in the area, you have to go! The perfect place to have a beer and a snack during your walk. Staff were super friendly too!

Really do not understand why so many excellent reviews. The three of us had the "famous" pork sandwich and were not impressed. The service was OK, but all in all if you compare it with other similar places it´s just and ordinary sandwich.
