ODE is located very near the river and is tucked into a an old, romantic, and rustic building. Lots of cozy tables and wonderful lighting. The food and service is top notch. You need a reservation! We asked the staff at our hotel to make us a reservation and we were able to go the night before we departed. Yummmmmm

We were really looking forward to our evening at Ode Porto but came away feeing a little disappointed. The food was well prepared but the menu unexciting so we ended up choosing the staples of octopus and baccalhau. The space is nice and the service attentive but a little aloof. Perhaps trying to be something it isn't?

Food was very good; I don't ever eat octupus, but I ordered it here due to the reviews and it was amazing. Husband loved both pork dishes. But again, very good, solid food-- was not blown away. Whole vibe is very stuffy and pretentious -- they take themselves a little too seriously for me.

Initially we booked an outside table but we were able to change it to an inside table. Much more ambiance inside and much more romantic. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. Very fluent in English. The food is typical Portugese with a modern twist. The menu is simple and all plates looked pretty good. We had the fillet mignon... More

To write this review I deliberately waited, so I could experience other “slow food” restaurants in rural Portugal. We had excellent food there and they are working hard to present their creations in style. On the other hand, we felt the spiritual side of having dinner here, for instance the presentation of a local goat cheese, was a bit overdone... More

The amazing assistant manager at the Vintage House Hotel in Pinhao called his former colleagues at the Intercontinental Porto and asked them to make reservations for us at this unique, small restaurant. One of the best dining experiences we had during our two weeks traveling through Portugal. Located just a few steps above the Douro River, when we arrived early,... More

Loved the privacy and exclusivity of this restaurant! The staff are all extremely friendly and the food is hands down one of the best meals we have had! The pace was slow so you can enjoy the wine and each meal and the view, upstairs by the window was an added bonus. Well worth the price!

Great service, food was amazing, we had the beef and the curry lamb which was wonderful, the view to the Ribiera port is just the cherry on top. Not to miss!

The service is excellent, the food is cooked to order and delicious and the restaurant itself is charming. Do book as this is not a big restaurant. It is very near where you take th boat for the six bridges trip if that helps locate it, and near to several other very nice looking restaurants. In comparison to London prices/quality... More

Description
Welcome to a quite, rustic 19th century house, just in front of river Douro, where Portuguese wine and food are the perfect excuse to forget the world and to enjoy the moment. An open kitchen where we love what we do to whom we do. A wide variety of Portuguese wines (15 by the glass) from which you can choose. Far from confusion, protected yet exposed, we look to pay an Ode to those who visit us - our guests. Relax. Fell at home.
