I have 25 years of restaurant experience, and one of my restaurants has the same Michelin rank as DOP… so… Not sure how experienced the travelers who complained about “overpriced” or “slow service“ were… To them I say: judging Michelein level cooking by Applebee’s pricing...standards is like complaining a Ferrari costs too much. As far as service speed goes, in most of the Mediterranean - slow, unrushed service equates with good service…. no “hovering” waiters tapping their feet waiting for you to finish so they can turn the table and earn more tips. Waiters are on a living wage salary in Europe (imagine that!)… so the table is yours as long as you want. Check never comes to the table UNTIL you ask. If you want fast, go back to the overstressed place you came from…More

We had a wonderful evening, we took the menu and all the dish were excellent and even more. The advises from the sommelier were excellent and not trying to sell the most expensive. Service was also very dedicated and nice. I can understand the comment...on price and portion for those who took a la carte. However the price was not hidden and clear from the website and the entrance. I am not sure I understand the complaint.More

Very overrated. Payed 60 € for 4 glasses of red wine! Friendly staff is the only upside the rest is a disappointment. Except the small appetisers from the chef… try somewhere else

The location is nice. Interiors a tad impersonal and unpractical (very heavy chairs making a lot of noise when one moves them), but overall OK. Food is good for me, my wife said she had the best duck of her whole life. wine list vast,...and sommelier very helpful. Reasonably pricey, in view of the notoriety of the chef...More

Best meal in Porto. The decor is modern and cool. The food is delicious and with delicious surprises in between courses . Every plate was so tasty . Service is good , young, trained staff . Surely worth a visit .

Avoid this restaurant, the food was okay but not worth the price. The service though was HORRIBLE. Nobody was responsible for the table and everything was very slow. They were e.g. asking if we wanna have dessert while still waiting for the main course. They...have an extensive wine list but can’t really recommend something properly. Maybe you should send the (famous) owner to a proper hotel school, we could recommend some in Switzerland.More

This is a wonderful restaurant that I learned about when walking down the street and overhearing someone mention how great it was. We booked a reservation and we were not disappointed. The service, food and location were excellent

Had been waiting for the starters for 1 hour. The waiters forgot about our drinks. Got an alcoholic Bloody Mary instead of the virgin version (for a person with an allergic reaction for alcohol). Waiting for the book if complaints took almost as long as...waiting for starters. The food is good, however, not outstanding. The size of the portions is not impressive as well.More

Depending on the time of the year and the week I would recommend making a reservation. When we visited in early May on a Friday night most tables were occupied.
