When in Porto don't bother waiting for a table at Cafe Majestic (of J. K. Rowling's fame). Go there, take a picture and then proceed to this cafe, just as elegant but without the wait and the attitude.
Mid-afternoon tea with sandwiches and pastry was wonderful. The non-sugar cake was absolutely delicious.
Wonderful old style café. Attentive, expedient service, but also laid-back. A must for an classic Porto experience.

Nice to look to people and a normal coffee house but ...... nothing special and for the Quallity extreme expensive. Not really super but As I said ok for a coffee or beer and a look to the people who pass by.

Beautiful cafe but in terms of service and quality of food it seems - for the moment at least - to have lost its way. First coffee undrinkable it was so cold. Poor breakfast selection and other customers appeared agitated over delays.
Lovely traditional coffee house, sympathetically restored within the confines of Pestana A Brasileira hotel, recently opened in early 2018. Relaxed and informal from a bygone era. Fabulous coffee house during the day and city bar facility from 19.00pm.
