Popped in here to see if the custard tarts were everything that had been promised, my apartment host (a local) had recommended it as the best!! He was right!! Crunchy pastry, goey middle and a rounding but not overpowering flavour of cinnamon. The coffee was...also brilliant (a normal cappuccino) and together it came to 6 euros something. Chap behind the counter spoke perfect English and everything was very easy!More

My favorite pasteleis de nata. Crunchy flaky buttery puff with sweet creamy filling balance with Cinammon.

An excellent place to try a "pastel de nata", and as suggested by the maid who served us so friendly, it should be accompanied by a 10 year old Port, which is even better. The Manteigaria "pasteis de nata" relly worth the trip, especially in...this wide space, with a varied menu. For sure Manteigaria does actually perhaps the best "pasteis de nata" in Portugal.More

The tarts here are absolutely delicious... warm and perfectly crispy. The atmosphere and ambience was great also, its a shame there is a lot of building work going on next door but don't let this put you off, the tarts more than make up for...the view. I'd definitely recommend stopping by here for a few tarts, you won't regret it!!More

Wonderful creamy pasteis de nata with little taste of cinnamon... you can add more cinnamon powder as you like. Love it!

Had a lovely two nata meiadeleite and fresh pressed orange juice to start the day. The natas are the most balanced and suave of the country. Love them tied with Belém in Lisbon

Thought I'd tried these in the Uk but there's just no comparison, these are amazing, inexpensive and addictive little tarts. Love the casual nature of the shop, order a tart with an espresso or glass of port and prop yourself on the ledge around the...edge of the shop whilst you people watch, what's not to likeMore

They have the best pasteis de nata! We tried 2 other stores in Porto, Manteigaria is still the best! You can enjoy it with espresso while watching the baker make the pasteis de nata😀.

SOO beautiful, tasty - simply delicious... but ONLY WHEN HOT!! Had a warm one and maybe it was that one in particular/that batch but it was way too runny and sweet!! Would definitely recommend and would return for it if hot but not for a...warm one - you’re better off at fabrica de nata for a warm one.More

Absolutely recommend their pastel de nata which goes perfectly with espresso and glass of port wine. There is also possibility to have a seat and enjoy it. Abit busy place, I liked more their next shop, but there is no chance to sit. In both...shops you can see how they prepare pasteis.More
