We stopped in for lunch but booked ahead, which you really need to do if you want to get a seat. We split a baked cod with baked potatoes and vegetables (mostly cabbage). Best baked cod either of us has ever had, which is saying something because we do a pretty mean one ourselves. The potatoes and vegetables were pretty... More

I had read a review that listed the restaurant as one of the top in the country so perhaps my expectations were too high. The food was good, but not great. The cod was traditionally prepared, but the flavors were off a bit. My veal dish was a bit tough though my fries were fresh and delicious. They did not... More

Four of us came across this restaurant by chance. We chose to have the plate of the day sardines plus bean rice and soup to start. House wine was nice. Service was friendly and efficient. Excellent overall and very good price 10 euros per head!

If you desire tasty, well cooked, nice served and traditional local food in a beautiful environment, then 'Ze Bota' is definitely one of the best options for you! the stuff is helpful and fast and the prices are logical, around 20 euros per person without the drinks. the residents of Porto love it! highly recommended!

Recommended by our hotel this restaurant serves traditional Portuguese food with a good selection of reasonably priced local wines. Excellent value for money and very friendly service. Well worth a visit, but recommend booking a table!

I stumbled across Zé Bora 10 years ago. The food was amazing and it's the only place I remembered from that trip. Cut to 10 years later I am glad I took my mother there to celebrate her birthday. The place is still amazing and the service was great. It was a full house but it lived up to my... More

Amazing restaurant!! One of my favorite dining experiences while in Portugal for 8 nights. The prices are so inexpensive. The food is impeccable and the owner does a great job pairing a wine from the region with your meal choice. This is a must if you are in Porto. Reservations are recommended. They reopen for dinner at 1945.

This is an awesome restaurant to visit when on Porto. It's a nice spot with some traditional well cooked food. Owner don'y like to take reservations but besides that is one of the best restaurants on Porto downtown

We had lunch in this resto in Porto, it had a great interior, I got a fish from the suggestions, it was great and the vegetables and potatoes had a nice garlic taste. The vino verde was nice as well. The service was very friendly and good. Prices were very ok!

If you don't mind a TV in the background, as well as music, but do like good food, then this is a good place to go. Both fish and meat are well prepared and are very tasty. The queue to get in tells the story!
