The food was good, although not that tasty as in other Portuguese restaurants I have been! Chez Lapin proposes a traditional menu. I recommend

We had lunch at this restaurant. Ana was our waitress. She was excellent. I had sardines and my wife ate mussels. They were first class. The Sangria was amongst the best I ever had. People at the next table had rice. I asked what it was and Ana arranged for us to try some. Simple and delicious. I am coming... More

Well located, friendly restaurant, service is great. Meal of the house lapin "Ches lapin" was fantastic. Great wines and deserts (chocolate cake was the best one), very good option to have dinner in Porto

First we had to wait 15 minutes to even order some drinks and get a menu. Our bread came 20 minutes after. Then we had to draw the attention of the waiter for more than ten minutes to get a second drink. More than an hour and a half after our arrival we got our food. When we finally got... More

Predictable tourist food. Staff are quiet friendly, service was a little too fast, starters lifted before they were finished. Avoid onion soup as its "pickled"'with salt/bouillon. Tomato salad was utterly uninspired. 4 tomatoes quartered with no dressing ! Rest of meal was passable. Wine list was overpriced compared to rest of city for same choices. Chef need not fret over... Friendly staff, the food was nice. Limited choices of meat, but since you're in Porto, that's almost expected.

We found this place during our first week in Porto and it turned into one of our regular spots. Unlike the name suggests, it is not a fancy french restaurant...we never did find out why they called it that, but we think there's a back story with the owner somehow. The place is small and cozy, split up in two... More

The portions were large and the food was tasty when we ordered the swordfish and the cod pie on a Sunday evening. It was slightly more expensive than some of the neighbouring restaurants but the quality of the dishes made it worth the extra cost, and it has a good location that overlooks the river. The staff were friendly but... More

We were searching for a restaurant after our arrival in Porto and this was one that was open before 7PM and the view was great. We ordered white wine and fish. Our wine arrived with the usual 'starters' and that was promising...but then the main dish came...the fish was dry, the potatoes were floating in oil and everything was cold...it... More
