Good meal with some excellent dishes and some mediocre. Shellfish with rice was good but a tad too "saucy". The veal steak was outstanding. The ham was ok. Service was a bit slow in the beginning. Lots of locals visit this place, was a good...casual night out.More

The service was friendly, the food was plentiful and tasty. Loved the octopus!! We also appreciated the welcoming and charming atmosphere; a respite in bustling Porto.

Olga, owner of inPatio Guesthouse, thought this resto would match our foodie interests. We did eat lunch there, and she was right. We all loved it. It was not easy to find. It is a large restaurant. The wait staff is highly professional -- a...bit aloof but attentive. My wife and I shared the tripe stew which included beans, chorizos and pork belly. With coffee, it was a bargain at 30E. It is highly recommended.More

We decided to visit this place because of recommendations and good reviews. However, we were so disappointed with the food quality and strange service. We ordered stir-fried cod, but the taste was weird, and the fish was dry. After the waiter brought us fish on...the plate, he took it and put it into another. Then we noticed they do the same operation with other guests and their dishes. Why on earth do they do that? The other dish we ordered was fried squid, and it was just ok, nothing special. We were surprised why this place had such a good evaluation. It's nothing special, outdated, and needs improvement and modernization.More

Food was incredible. Authentic Portuguese, great price and the seafood was incredible. Big restaurant so good for groups, yet waiter was very attentive and lovely. We ordered for starters : ham, Mediterranean salad, garlic prawns and the mackerel- all were fab. For mains we had...the monkfish rice (which was massive) plus the squid special dish and the octopus main course. Couldn’t fault any of them. This restaurant is a must-visit for an authentic experience.More

The meal we had here was great. We particularly liked the dessert with recommended Port wine pairing; that was delicious and if it hadn't had been our last night we'd have gone back and tried more! The staff were friendly and helpful as well.

We had dinner here on our first night in Porto. The food was good, some dishes were better than others but the bread was great, the waiter outstanding and a nice start to our time in Portugal.

Traditional place with nice atmosphere and solid food. I had caldo verde (yum!) cod a la brasa--so much food! My partner had a steak with pepper sauce and he said it was the best steak he'd had in a while. It was a nice night...out and good value. Highly recommend!More

Bacalhau à Bras was average and bacalhau with bread-crumbs was nice. Good wine and nice service. Dessert mediocre.
