Our hotel recommended this restaurant and we were VERY impressed. It was one of those nights on holidays when you are hungry but you don't exactly know what you want. This restaurant was the perfect option due to the vast, and varied, menu. We were lucky to get a table though and it was very busy, I would recommend making... More

We visited Abadia based on TA reviews and were not disappointed. Between the four of us we ordered vegetable soup app, grilled octopus entree, shrimp and mussels app, tripe eentree and veal loin entree. The best were by far the entrees with the tripe standing out as the best. Our waiter was Manuel who was great - attentive and helpful.... More

On my last day in Porto I wanted to taste the bacalhau à brás so I asked at my hotel and they booked for me. I think it's not on the menu but there is no problem if you ask for it the day before. It was really worth it. Delicious, tasty food at excellent prices. Very good service and everything... More

Our hotel recommended this restaurant, and we were disappointed. The staff were initially attentive, but then basically ignored us. The portions were huge, but unexceptional. The décor was not particularly inviting. Also, the restaurant is extremely touristy, so beware.

One of the best multi food type restaurants where I have eaten. Food is really excellent and the restaurant decor is great. Ideal spot for any kind of dinner with family, friends and even valentines. Staff created a friendly relationship from the beginning. Kind people made a great night! Sure I'll come back.

Having been recommended this restaurant by a taxi driver who told me he dines here regularly with his wife and likes the atmosphere of the place, I figured this was a pretty safe bet for dinner. However, as dining experiences go, this former abbey is quite unexceptional. For a start, the decor is drab and old-fashioned, the lighting funereal. The... More

The place is very pleasant, the food very good, and the service very good too. I recommend the Tripas for meal and the Rabanada for dessert.

We were a party of six and had a wonderful meal at the restaurant. It had been recommended to us by a local. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The wine recommendations were excellent. The atmosphere pleasant and the service was exceptional. The staff were extremely friendly and made it a fun evening.
