We went for breakfast, cofee, nice cheese and ham sandwiches, pastries and cookies. Friendly staff, free WiFi, 20 euros for 4 adults

Food is cheap. Atmosphere not the best, little tables with plastic. You have to order by yourself and then a few minutes later someone brings it to your table. It is okay for a fast breakfast, but not more

Lovely little locals cafe with simple inexpensive Portuguese fare and friendly staff. Much much cheaper than the cafés nearer the historic centre.

Nice place to stop for a custard tart. Good coffee and good pastries with a few outside tables on an old square. Friendly pleasant staff. Just the place for a break when exploring Guimaraes.

A good place to sit and eat every from the local pastrie from Guimarães or form others regions of Portugal. I like to stay outside looking to the beatiful Largo do toural.

I stopped into this quaint bakery/café to try the local favorite - toucinho do ceu (caramelized egg yolk and sugar) along with bronha de mel (honey biscuit) - both were excellent. I enjoyed a café solo along with my pastries as I sat at an...outdoor table overlooking Largo Toural and the comings and goings of the locals. Service was professional and the owner/baker(?) was very patient with me as I had a hard time deciding what to eat - everything looked so good! A nice (and tasty) way to spend my last day in this magical city.More

We were lured in by the Use-It map and it was a worthy tip. Cakes were good, but not actually extraordinary. Nonetheless, the promoted Torta de Guimaraes was quite overpriced and many other pastries were better.

Every day we go there during our stay. You should try the sweet specialities of the city. Really fine, tasting and inexpensive. Beaware of your weight

Maybe I didn't get the best things on the menu but we had coffees and a few pastries and they were the exact same as you get elsewhere. Don't go out of your way to eat here. I have no clue what the other reviews...are talking about, if you like it recommend some good dishes.More
