Quality products made-up by the rules reveal the genuine flavors of the northern Portuguese kitchen. Everything was tasteful and very well cooked like it should be in Portugal. If You like Vinho Verde, you can and should ask for the house. The place is confortable. " É uma casa portuguesa, com certeza."

I dislike the price. But every dish is always fresh and perfect. Multiple excellent deserts available. And always fresh fish.

We stayed for two nights in Braga and went to Arcoense on our first night. Sr. Barroso came to our table and greeted us and helped us with our selections for the evening's repast. We started with some warm fava beans with pork, it was incredible. We also had a plate of Sr. Barroso's own cured pork, not pata negro,... More

It's a very pretty and nice restaurant. The food was very good and the service was excellent. It's a bit pricey but other than that I would recommend it.

We were treated to a feast! Agree with other reviews that the food is Spectacular! The roasted meat dish was sooooo good. This will be your best meal in Portugal. We were in Braga for 3 nights and ate there twice, it should have been 3 times.

This unassuming restaurant is in the middle of a run down neighborhood in Braga. We got lost twice trying to find it. Thank god we did! The most incredible food we have ever had. Everything home grown and the cabrito rice is sublime. Save place for desserts. I will return as many times as I can.
