Very good food, good value and excellent service, but make sure you go early - 7pm. We had a great, tasty meal and efficient service and at a reasonable price. The gentleman who lures you into the restaurant is pleasant and funny to watch.

We had a very late dinner here one night, so considering the time I was very impressed by the good service and food. Very little wait, attentive staff, and a wide variety to choose from on the menu. Perfectly decent restaurant and reasonable prices as well.

Had good meals on our last visit to Maderia two years ago so decided to make this one of our first meal stops. As Peri Peri is a local dish, we thought we'd try this - word of warning - this is terrible!!!! Poor quality chicken, Peri Peri sauce watery and was more like gravy wth hot sauce added, generally... Came here on our first night as we'd enjoyed it on a previous visit. The classic dish of scabbard fish with banana was ok but the serving was tiny, my stuffed pepper contained couscous which was definitely fusty. Reading reviews it seems a bit hit and miss in here, can only emphasise that our last meal was the best of... More

On the recommendation of the hotel we were staying in, we dined at this restaurant on our first evening. I have to say that we enjoyed our meal. Based upon our experience, we decided to revisit this restaurant 4nights later. We opted for the set menu deal which included some items from our previous visit. To say we were disappointed... More

Try the specialties like the picanha steak that you cook at the table on hot volcanic stone. Delicious!

We found this restaurant by chance and were so glad we did! The food is excellent - wide variety of dishes and wines are available. The staff are friendly and helpful. Seating is available outside and inside. Scabbard fish which seems to be a great delicacy in Madeira is available in many different dishes.

We past by the restaurant one evening and was approached by one of the street-waiters trying to lure people in. All restaurants do it in funchal (although it is really annoying) - however this one was particularly annoying - and even switched to our language (danish) - so we passed it instantly. - too much of a tourist-trap. One of... More

Typical Madeiran restaurant and some kitchen options north of Portugal and internationally. contemporary restaurant, very cozy where all the dishes are served with a very careful presentation. A much sought after by Madeiran space for lunch and dinner and even groups and foreign customers daily ... With price and excellent quality and a gourmet presentation, but taking into account the well served, because our objective is always the customer to enjoy a good meal and come back whenever possible.
