We had a couple of weeks at Reid's, so this little restaurant was convenient on nights we were too tired to go out. It is basically a nice Italian style restaurant, with pristine red and white linen and sparkling glasses. Very attentive staff and lovely views of the bay. I had stuffed pasta and my family all had fish. There... More

The location and views are incomparable. The food is excellent. The service is efficient beyond reproach. True, it is expensive, but there is something missing here. On arrival at the restaurant, and on first being seated, there is a tension in the air. Somehow, the wait staff contrive to make you feel that you don't quite belong. Yet, as the... More

Dear JohnPGrant, I was very sorry to read that your experience at the beginning of your meal was not up to your expectations, and that you felt tension in the air upon your arrival. We encourage our restaurant staff to warmly welcome each guest, and making them feel valued. We hold regular pre-meal staff meetings in which we address ways... More

About 100 yards up the hill from Reid's hotel (no internal connection, so wear outdoor clothing and suitable shoes to walk up the hill) Good choice of menu - I went for the fish soup which was delicious and husband for the Tagliorini two nights running it was so delicious. Friendly service, delicious wines - also by the glass. Fun... More

We have been staying at Reids and the restaurant operates under the hotel's banner, although it is separately located. We had an excellent meal, main course a local fish (espada), and the food and service was excellent. It is quite a spacious restaurant and not being full, it lacked a little in atmosphere, but we would happily go back.

We just managed to get a late table at Ristorante Villa Cipriani for Valentine's night and the experience was excellent. The food was very well cooked and really tasty. My wife and I both had Chef's specials. I had pasta with shrimp in a lobster sauce - rich but not overwhelmingly so. My wife had stuffed squid, which was subtlety... More

Reids is an experience and Ciprianis is their Italian restaurant. Booking necessary. Staff are extremely attentive and you are soon aware that this is a bit special. G&Ts to start, artichoke, fish, ministrone soup and triangolin for starters with delicious bread. Canneloni chicken and veal, mushroom risotto, risooto with pigeon and seafood risotto for mains (something light) Bottle of Encosta... More

Adjoins Reids Palace Hotel (but open to none residents). Predominately Italian menu but we actually chose other items which were equally as good. Not the cheapest but the food is of a very good quality and the wines were reasonably priced. A good dining experience all round.

Beautiful restaurant in a century old luxury hotel. The service is amazing, kind waiters, attentive and funny. Great Italian food, no fuzz, just the real taste of the ingredients. Good wines and an amazing view. Cosy interior. A bit pricy, though. High prices for water and wines, my reason for not giving them the excellent score.

We stayed at the restaurant for dinner. The restaurant is very nice and the staff is very courteous and professional. Small portions and very tasty. Very high prices without justification. Please note, you may be surprised by the bill ...
