This bakery has a variety of sweets, but the Travesseiro de Sintra is really good. The best Portuguese sweet in my opinion!

We stopped by for coffee and pastries based on recommendation from our guide. Had the cheese tart as well as the almond tart. We prefer the almond tart. Coffee was good too and the price was reasonable. Should give this place a try if you can.

Our guide recommended this place to us after our tour to the Pena Palace. The staff in Piriquita II are friendly and helpful. We had the travesseiros aka “the Pillow” (pastry with soft sweet filling) and sandwiches for lunch. There are few types of travesseiros...original, with chocolate filling etc. We loved all of them. We also tried their special cheese... More

Totally disappointing and Tourist SCAM. Went there becuause a Portuguese friend recommended it to me... paid 10 euros for 2 coffees, a TINY pastry thing and a small roll of bacalhau (COD). Taste was OKAY for the bacalhau thing but the traverseiro thing was small with NO chocolate at all. Sorry didnt like it at all

Tasty cakes and very good coffee. Friendly staff. Might be very busy in high & low season. Great place to sit and enjoy local cakes.

Typical place with good pastry. Waited to buy the typical queijadas and travesseiros to go home. Long waiting but worth it!

Bought their best seller pastry, Travesseiros which has an almond, creamy filling and the other a nutella filling. It was delicious. My husband and I had 2 each. The other pastry that we bought is Queijadas. So delicious!

We loved the parties. Located in a beautiful street. The people were extremely nice and we got great service. We visited the place twice.
