A young woman wearing the yellow "information" t-shirt for Sintra told me about Piriquita when I asked about coffee shops. Her colleague chimed in right away. "It's a local treat!" Boy, were they right! Go in. Sit down. The wait staff is gracious and speedy....More

Had a late(ish) lunch and delicious pastries for dessert. There's a very nice terrace between narrow and busy streets.

The original bakery Is just down the hill and was packed so we went up to the second store which sells the same pastry. Try the original pastries, Queijadas and Travesseiros. The original recipe is great or you can get a Nutella version.

Great Portuguese pastries to stay or take away. Our cappuccinos were delicious with chocolate on top and we tasted nata, quesadilla, and "pillows". Highly recommend for families looking to take a break from touring and enjoy something local!!!

A must visit to try local pastries. They are inexpensive and hearty. The almond flavour tart is delicious.

Cherished the freshly prepared Portuguese pastries. These are really soft, moist and tasty. It has a small sitting area, but I saw lots of customers take-out their selection of pastries and cookies.
