After visiting Sintra Palace, we drove to the Restaurant. As soon as you occupy a table, a bowl full of Olives is served. Bread & Butter follow with Ham Presento. We salad green salad - full of fabulous fresh leaves, cherry tomatoes, Goat cheese etc., Kakabs (Beef/Pork/Seafood), Fries & Almond Pudding. The preparations were delicious. Gaspar, Alexandra & Mendiz gave... More

Oh my God this is an amazing restaurant. We were there on a busy Sunday lunch but the staff were friendly and very efficient. We had mushrooms with bacon in cream sauce, fantastic squid and prawns on skewers and then main course was the roasted kid. Goat is not normally a meat I would order but this was amazing, tender... Our group of 8 adults had dinner here and it was just great. Everything was super fresh and the goat stew was so tasty. Not something you'd have any other place. The service was wonderful and attentive and the food portions were very large (one dish is enough for 2 people). The wine and deserts were terrific. I highly recommend... More

We wanted to find a not so touristy restaurant in Sintra and our guesthouse recommended this restaurant. What a fantastic meal we had! Loved it all! We felt like we were eating with the locals.

We came to Sintra for a few days to relax and our appropriator (we stayed in a private hotel Casa das Campainhas) told us to visit this place. "The best Portuguese food you can find" he said. And it was. We traveled trough the most of the Portugal after that and tried a lot of good restaurants -- but Curral... More

and the food - been their once before - does deliver even though it feels a bit too international clientele but still the quality of the food is excellent - try the goat stew as opposed to the roast aka assado - and btw don't take a vegetarian with you as the taxidermy on a goat theme might create tension... Stopped here with a large tour group. They did a fantastic job. We had our area and I could see there were other large groups in different spots. There were multiple courses of food plus bottles of red and white wine on the table. Honestly, it was the highlight of the tour because we spent most of this holiday stuck... More

An excellent traditional portuguese restaurant, located in the amazing village of Sintra. The menu options are excellent, with special focus on the goat "Cabrito". All the food is well cooked and fresh and the beverage choice are excellent. Very good portuguese wines are available. A place to try at least once in the life.
