Most people in Portugal eat roasted quarters, half or full cabritos, which is served with quartered fried potatoes. I've tasted that from my friends and it was tender, moist, lovely cookies cabrito. But I went instead for the grilled pieces and it was even more delicious.

This Restaurant was recommended to us whilst on holidays in Cascais. I was looking for something quite tradicional for my Son's birthday, and Curral dos Caprinos, met my expectations. The restaurant is located on the outskirts of beautiful Sintra, and has plenty of parking. We were able to book the table (recommended for parties or large groups) with one the... More

We had lunch included in our cruise ship's tour...so I wasn't expecting much. What a pleasant surprise! The staff were courteous and attentive. The room was comfortable and the wifi was fast and free. Last but not least, the chef knew what he was doing. The food was not only plentiful but also served hot, fresh and delicious. This is... We stopped here as part of our cruise ship tour so much was prepared and not a typical meal. Our preordered meal came in waves and it was not bad but not spectacular either. The taste was good but because we were not seated with the rest of our group, we actually "missed" a course. It was more important to... More

This restaurant was recommended by our hosts at Quinta do Sao Tadeu and no wonder. Excellent, authentic Portuguese food; delicious, generous and so unbelievably reasonable. This family has had this restaurant for 40 years and they know how to make you feel welcome. Forget the town centre, this is the real deal.

One of the best meals I have ever had in this typical restaurant. We went in a group of people and I will never forget the flavors and how good was the goat cheese. We had a big variety of appetizers at the beginning including the famous goat cheese, bacalao, olives, etc. Then the main courses included caprino, beef/Pork/seafood skewers... More

It's located at Sintra and very near to the Pena Palace and Sintra village. We visited with a recommendation of local tour guide and the food is at very big portion and very reasonable price. I personally like the cottage cheese (without salt and pepper), it's refreshing and soft. The monkfish & prawn kebab is nice too.

This restaurant is not on the tourist route and was half full when we visited at 2PM on a week day but you can expect a wait at peak hours or weekends. We had a fantastic cod fish (bacalhau) prepared portuguese style, along with the many appetizers. This is a very good traditional family owned restaurant.
