Lovely authentic feel with very helpful and friendly waiters. Having read TA reviews we had starter each then shared main course, best way to do it as there is lots to eat. Breads, cheese and olives then garlic, coriander soup with egg on top, my husband helped me devour it, very tasty. Goat stew wow, that was good, full of... More

This one fine example of a traditional typical restaurant. A wide variety of Portuguese typical dishes and a nice farm deco makes this a place to visit. Professional staff and friendly atmosphere.

My girlfriend and I had a great time here. The atmosphere and the design are truly local, and the restaurant's location is far from anything you can call touristic. Only one waiter out of ten knew English, a fact that undoubtedly contributed to the authenticity of our experience. As for the food, we mainly had beef dishes - traditional Portuguese... More

Make sure you go here when you are hungry!!! The staff are very friendly and will help guide you through the menu. We had two full meals and two half portions for four people and we struggled to eat it all, which was a shame as the quality of the food was excellent and tasty, but they kindly packed a... More

After visiting Sintra Palace, we drove to the Restaurant. As soon as you occupy a table, a bowl full of Olives is served. Bread & Butter follow with Ham Presento. We salad green salad - full of fabulous fresh leaves, cherry tomatoes, Goat cheese etc., Kakabs (Beef/Pork/Seafood), Fries & Almond Pudding. The preparations were delicious. Gaspar, Alexandra & Mendiz gave... More

Oh my God this is an amazing restaurant. We were there on a busy Sunday lunch but the staff were friendly and very efficient. We had mushrooms with bacon in cream sauce, fantastic squid and prawns on skewers and then main course was the roasted kid. Goat is not normally a meat I would order but this was amazing, tender... Our group of 8 adults had dinner here and it was just great. Everything was super fresh and the goat stew was so tasty. Not something you'd have any other place. The service was wonderful and attentive and the food portions were very large (one dish is enough for 2 people). The wine and deserts were terrific. I highly recommend... More

We wanted to find a not so touristy restaurant in Sintra and our guesthouse recommended this restaurant. What a fantastic meal we had! Loved it all! We felt like we were eating with the locals.

We came to Sintra for a few days to relax and our appropriator (we stayed in a private hotel Casa das Campainhas) told us to visit this place. "The best Portuguese food you can find" he said. And it was. We traveled trough the most of the Portugal after that and tried a lot of good restaurants -- but Curral... More
