This is a nice cosy restaurant just behind the station. The food is very well prepared and there are a lot of traditional plates. Don't expect to find Chines dumplings here. The service is friendly and skilled. We ordered some withe wine with our food and the combination was excellent. Also very surprising is the amount of deserts, including a... More

A buzzing family run Portuguese restaurant filled with locals. Food was amazing and although our starter choice was not avail the owner recommended the spring salad to share which was fab. Clearly take pride in what they do. Fish freshly cooked. Good selection of wine at a great price. A must visit if in the area 👍🏻 We will be... More

Beautiful Portuguese codfish and octopus!! One of the best Portuguese traditional food we've had and we had dinner here two nights in a row. Not too salty or too oily, just right! Also the service was excellent too. The staffs are really great. I'm almost crying I will leave this town tomorrow and probably can't have their food for longtime... More

Very typical Portuguese family-run restaurant. We were the only tourists there for a late lunch after a long hike. Our two dishes were very good. Grilled salmon and ham with melons. Friendly owner. We would definitely eat here again.

Unless you arrive by train (and even then), you must be lucky to notice this restaurant. It really would be a pity if you didn’t. This is a neat restaurant away from the tourist area. And that’s probably one of the reasons why you find lots of locals that come and eat here. But the main reason is definitely the... More

Ate here twice and it was packed on both occasions, service is a bit erratic as only two people serving but the food made up for it. the fish platter was huge and really good, the starters are not very inspiring but it is very Portuguese.

We enjoyed an evening meal in this traditional Portuguese restaurant with a great atmosphere. Good choice of local dishes, such as fish dishes, and also some good options for children. Service was brilliant and our waiter was friendly and helpful. Lots of lovely local pastries and cakes on view for the dessert option! Worth tracking this restaurant down as it's... More

This local restaurant offers excellent traditional Portuguese food, everything we ate was delicious, really. Our waiter was incredibly friendly and helpful. The restaurant has a couple of tables outside which means that we were able to go and have lunch with our dog, this information might not seem significant but it was essential for us since we were traveling with...
