We just had drinks, but looking inside, there is a very nice, modern restaurant, looks like it is worth trying. Nice to sit outside, looking down towards the palace.
We visit this restaurant every time we are in Queluz. The owners are friendly and welcoming. The food is absolutely delicious and is cooked freshly. You can visit and just have a drink inside or out. The food and drinks are very reasonably priced.
One of the surprisingly good local restaurants near the Pousada de Queluz. The four of us enjoyed a very good dinner with wine for less than 100 Euro. If memory serves, the Dourada and Gambas were really fresh and delicious.

A modest and homely restaurant with charming proprietor and staff. Fresh fish available. Portuguese cuisine. Air-conditioned interior. Pleasant atmosphere.
