The reviews said this was probably the best steak in Lisbon. Based on my plate of food, I'm perfectly prepared to accept this is true. A beautiful, buttery steak served Portuguese style; garlic and bay, light sauce. My daughter had the grilled, wanted it cooked slightly more; it can back perfect for her. Great service, gentlemen's club feel. Put it... More

We stopped for a light lunch on a Saturday and we're lucky to find a seat at the restaurant kitchen. We order prego rolls with French fries. The prego rolls were amazingly good and the French fries were the best we have tasted in Lisbon! The service was quick and efficient. The staff are friendly and happy and enjoy themselves... More

Alice?, Alice? I'll tell you who Alice is, she is the lovely Brazilian waitress that served us this evening. We had a fantastic meal this evening with very charming and attentive service. Thoroughly recommend the Fillet with the cream sauce. Will definitely come back if we are in the area again.

Very famous restaurant, serves until quite late. If you need fattenifng here is the place to go. Lots of buttered toast, nuts and red meat floating in cream and fried potatoes. They have not kept up with modern times and have few healthy and tasty alternatives. The salads are boring and not worth the while. However, if you want to... More

We decided to book this restaurant based on reviews on Tripadvisor and Timeout. It was one of the best steaks we have ever eaten! I had the filet mingnon with the creamy sauce and my boyfriend just the plain steak. They were cooked to perfection and melted in your mouth. The creamed spinach was the best I have ever tasted,... We booked a table here with the trip advisor fork and as usual we were welcomed without any problems. It was our first night in Lisbon and because our flight was late we only had time to throw our cases inside the apartment before setting off for our 10pm. Reservation. Very polite people welcomed us and showed us to our... More

We were looking for some beef since we were seeking an alternative to bacalhau. The menu is not extensive so the entrees we experienced were all very tasty. We even tried the shrimp which was an abundant size, slightly spicy with lots of garlic and cayenne. The New York Strip was tasty, lean, and tender. As was the filet. Fries... More

A special, upscale hideaway in an unexpected part of town. Great foods, great wines. The wait staff has been there for 30 years. From the street, looks like a Speak Easy; must ring a bell, then the door opens to an old style, comfortable and premium place.
