Went here on a rainy night. Waiters were very friendly and helped us choose the menu. My daughter was not very hungry and had an omelette. I ordered a sea bass. Food was excellent and wine was nice as well. The poached peach in port wine was to die for. Only grudge was that they put lots of starters including... More

This is a classic case of should have read Trip Advisor! As per other reviews be aware of the sharp practice of bringing a load of starters and saying they were optional! We hadn't ordered them of course! Gin & tonics very expensive. Main course was ok actually, but compared with what else you can get in Lisbon for much... More

What a disappointment this was after visiting so many great eateries. A real tourist trap. Extremely slow service throughout. Starters served in a large platter of bear and charcuterie etc was placed on the table eventually and left there for an age though we did not order it. We were told to only have what we wanted. Hunger alone forced... More

It's just terrible food! We ordered octupus as starter and it wasn't octupus at all, it was "pota" (a very cheap mollusk that is similar to octupus) and the shrimp it was a frozen kind of shrimp so it was just the WORST place we ever went to in Lisbon. Wine is also terribly expensive.

Do yourself a favor and stay away! The fish dish was disguising/inedible. The waiter refused to deduct it from the bill after we had asked him nicely. We have also tried to talk to the manager and got the same answer. This was by far the worst restaurant we ate in Portugal.

Excellent, extensive menu of local delicacies. The menu included sardines, large and small, and other seafood. The service was quite good. Nice wine list. We would return with out hesitation.

Reached this place after a long struggling and adventurous walk through the narrow alleys of Lisbon. (Lisbon pavements are not for the weak hearted) And this place was a treat. The waiter was extremely courteous and his knowledge of wines is amazing. The food was great, where I had the Portuguese version of paella, and i finally agree...Portuguese cuisine is... More

Found this place by mistake while walking in bairro alto. It was a good surprise, calm environment, great waiter, tasty food and excellent wine. Totally recommend!

Tripadvisor is debasing the value of its brand by handing out its stickers too easily ... we too were persuaded by the Tripadvisor sticker (and not checking online) ... service was friendly, but food strictly pedestrian, and not worth the cost. Disappointing.

Don't come near this restaurant! We sat here after seeing the "trip advisor sticker" on the door but be sure that this place is horrible. The food was bad, the service was awful and they asked us to pay for a steak that was not possible to eat!! The chef came out and yelled at us and we are very... More
