Good for live music but stick to bar food

The only dish I can recommend is Grilled Prawn with garlic sauce. We went for a Sangria, grilled Chourico and fried cuttlefish.The Sangria was premixed and overpriced, the rest was only edible after quite a few drinks... Live music is great. Service was unreliable.

Disappointing food, surly staff

We came for lunch as one of our party had been before and really recommended the sausage croquettes, and to be fair, they were really nice. This was where the good experience ended sadly. The service was very slow, we seemed to be waiting a long time for our food to arrive. Aside from the croquettes, we ordered fries with a melted cheese and bacon topping, and these were disappointing. The cheese was melted but had hardened again, so it looked like they had been stood for a while. We also ordered the pica pau/"cow on a plate". This was a broth consistency and while the broth was very nice, the meat itself was quite chewy (apparently they previously served this as thin slices of meat and that was much better). By far the worst part of our order however was the nachos; these should not be on the menu. For 7 euros, the portion consisted of a few plain nachos in a bowl (no toppings of any kind) with a small serving of guacamole. Extremely overpriced for what you actually get. In hindsight, perhaps we should have complained straight away but instead when the bill came, we asked them to take them off as they were not good (we'd barely touched them). The waiter went away to discuss with colleagues; another returned and refused to take them off the bill, arguing that we'd eaten them all (completely untrue, however at this point, all the food/plates had been taken away). Further discussions were had with the manager, who had an extremely surly attitude and refused to accept our insistence that we'd barely touched them. Ultimately we ended up paying the bill in full as they absolutely wouldn't budge, and he actually stated that for the sake of 7 euros, he didn't care if we left a negative review. Ultimately this is the type of place that relies on passing trade and clearly doesn't rely on return visitors. Appalling customer service, definitely one to swerve.

I didn't, I won't! I went to dinner to the competition, great food, but this Havana bar managed to ruin my dinner, and from other tables, the discomfort was noticeable in the comments. Music to the loud, like we were at a festival, noise pollution, I couldn't even talk to my family! I don't understand why the columns, the show should be without a microphone, only for the audience at home! Amazing food and an excellent sangria in the marina with an amazing river view. We tried the Havana salad with shrimps which was excellent and the shrimp stroganoff which was tasteful and the codfish truly good. Highly recommended!!!! The sunny weather in November also helped 😉

We went here as it was the only place open due to coronavirus. Four waitresses, less tables than usual yet waited hour for food. Husbands burger was cold and my codfish was swimming in oil. Really wouldn’t recommend. And the toilet door didn’t lock! Wouldn’t return.

It turns out that the ban on access to the bar is not published, contrary to article 131 of Decree-Law No. 10/2015. Please read this review..... Good customer service costs nothing unlike this very over priced venue with zero customer service! Having been begged to come in off the walkway, we were shown to a table. The staff then had a row as one of them had been saving that for someone else, so we were moved to the other side of the outdoor seating area. We had walked all the way from the centre of Lisbon so were looking forward to some nice food and drink. We should have read reviews first. The service was very slow and unfriendly. We ordered various dishes between 7 of us, one being nachos for €7. The way it was described was not how it arrived. Some crisps in a small bowl with a tiny bowl of guacamole on the side. We also had cheesy bacon fries. They were huge, hard bits of dried bacon with even drier cheese, clearly re heated to be served, certainly not fresh. We were tucked in to a corner and had no one come check on us during the meal. We were unhappy and wanted to leave, so I asked for the bill, at which point I asked for the nachos to be removed as they had hardly been touched due to being so poor and not as described during which time awaiter cleared the table, inc the nachos. The very aggressive waiter came back and refused to change the bill as we had eaten everything, Inc the nachos. I explained we had not. He then said we should have complained earlier and I said we had been ignored. He went off and completely ignored us again. I had to go up to the bar to request to pay and was given the original bill. I explained again I wanted the €7 euro nachos removing but they accused us of lying and that we had eaten every plate. I was shocked that we were paying a large amount of money in total and being accused of lying just to get some money off the bill. He again was very aggressive and stand offish insisting we were lying. I had no choice but to pay and he had an attitude, even telling me he didn't care. They clearly only get passing trade due to their location and the fact the other restaurants around will have turned people away who by default will end up here, hungry and thirsty. Please avoid.
