Stumbled across this little cute pastries place which gave me an ever lasting taste, I am a savory eater who always passes on deserts or cakes but thought I must try a Portuguese tart since we are in Lisbon and this place had me going...back for another! So good, so cheap and so delicious. A huge variety of pastries and you can also grab a coffee to go as well if no seats available as it only seats 16More

This small bakery in Alfama is operated by a father son duo who are the nicest people you will come across. They greet each customer with a big smile and really seem to be enjoying what they do. The food itself is really really good...and very economically priced. There are plenty of savory and sweet options and everything we had was top notch. They serve fresh orange juice and coffees which are exceptional too. We are in Lisbon for 5 days and will make sure we try all the available options. By far the best bakery of our trip!More

(cash only bakery) I was looking for a quick bite to eat before heading to the airport and I found this place, and let me just saY WOW! They had a wonderful selection of baked good and savory items. We got the ham and cheese...pastry with tomato, a prosciutto ham and cheese roll up and a sausage roll! It was all so good and still warm from the oven. I decided to get a small dessert pastry as well and it was UNREAL it was some kind of circular milk pastry! The guy who else’s me was soooo nice and helpful always had a smile on his face I told him yo keep the change and he wouldn’t let me!! GO HERE SERIOUS I wish i discovered this place soon i’m sad to be leaving but happy it was on a good note:)More

Amazing place to go for breakfast. It is quite cozy, very friendly staff who speak many languages fluently (Portuguese, English and French anyway), delicious baking, both sweet and savory and very affordable. Would definitely recommend!

Ordered 2 coffees, 2 freshly squeezed juices, 2 x chocolate croissants, 2 x pastel de Natas and 2 x banana cakes. All fresh and tasty and less than 9 euros! Staff super friendly even though shop was very busy. Highly recommended!

Alfama Doce was my neighbourhood bakery during the two weeks I stayed in Lisbon. I loved walking there every morning for pastries and coffee. Friendly staff and comfortable indoor seating and the best pastel de nata in town. A place frequented by locals as well...as visitors.More

This tiny little bakery in the Alfama district of Lisbon serves a great variety of savoury and sweet pastries, including a wonderful nata. And when the local elderly ladies gather there for their morning coffee, you know that you are in the right place.

We received exceptional service in this small cafe - the gentlemen behind the counter were more than happy to talk us through all of the various offerings. In English too!

We walked 2 miles up "escadinhas" for this pastelaria. WORTH IT. Their pastel de nata was better than Manteigaria in my opinion. We had their combinado, pao de deus com quiejo/manteiga, pastel de bacalhau and 2 glasses of sumo de laranja. Service was excellent, the...server was friendly. Nice stop to have breakfast right before visiting the Castelo de Sao Jorge. The price was totally reasonable it cost us only 7 euros for a delicious meal. Locals and tourists both ate side by side.More

I loved Pastelaria Alfama Doce. It's delicious and reasonably priced. I went right when they opened (8:00 a.m.) and there were already customers waiting. I loved that they have a huge selection of savory pastries. The cheese one was my absolute favorite; I also loved...the sausage one. For sweets, the Alfama pastry was delicious. I got a few others, and all were good. I also got a decent cappucino. Staff is friendly and everything only cost about €6. If in Alfama, I highly recommend.More

Hi Claire, honestly, I don't remember. Less than 1€ for sure. This pastelaria is not an expensive shop. Try it if you happen to walk up or down Alfama. Cheers
