How is Restaurante A Praça rated?

Found this restaurant on the first day of our holiday. Looked quiet so we walked past it first of all assuming if it wasn’t very popular it couldn’t have been all that good. We were wrong! Quickly became very busy but we managed to find...a much needed table inside to take shelter from the midday sun. Food was delicious. Our daughter said it was the best chicken burger she’d ever had. Fried green beans & padron peppers were exceptional. Staff were so friendly & welcoming. We couldn’t go home without a revisit so headed back for dinner another evening. Husband loved his steak. Once again staff gave such a warm welcome & were super attentive throughout the meal. Best place we’ve eaten on holiday.More

Tourist Scams

Ridiculus that I am forced to drink a 0.6L beer when I ask a small one. They don't even warn you, than they charge 6 euro and mention as "imperial" on the beer. Bad customer service.

Poor service awful food

Stopped her for lunch, as a group we ordered Pasta, Steak, Ostopus and starters. Firstly they bought us a wrong starter dish which we had to return and get taken of the bill. Secondly the pasta tasted ok but the sauce tasted worse than Dolmio...sauce. Thirdly the steak wasnt too bad but had no sauce on it and was very rubbery. The octopus dish tasted ok but was drenched in oil. We also ordered fries which had no taste of potato and was very greasy. We paid for extra sauce for the fries and they only bought this over after we asked them a couple of times. The general service was also poor, they did apologise for bringing the wrong starters but never came over to check if we was happy with our meals. You should only visit this place for a few drinks dont bother with foodMore

One of the best spots in LX Factory

Stumbled across this place whilst visiting LX Factory during quiet mid midweek period with bad weather. Despite this the place was packed both in the main restaurant and along the pavement terrace. Staff were polite and friendly, though noticeably rushed. The drinks and food took...a while to come out, however when it did the food was good and reasonably priced for the area. Can recommend when visiting LX but wouldn't necessarily go out my way to go there specifically.More

Lousy customer service

Our experience included an over abundance of attitude from several servers including the manager. We declined the bread but wanted the olives. The server insisted we have both. Our side plates were delivered with a frisbee style toss and a sneer. We questioned why we...were charged for mayonnaise for the fries, the answer from the manager was because. The food overall was good and arrived hot.More

💯😍We had the best experience in service and gastronomy

We went as a family of three. From the moment we walked in we were welcomed by friendly faces, given an amazing table where we could see through the windows of the vibrant LX Factory. The waiters one more friendlier than the other and their...passion for what they were doing ant it was visible. The chef and the team made each dish tasty demonstrating what Portuguese gastronomy is all about. We were so impressed with the amazing team that we wanted to mention them by name, and a special thank you to: - Raquel - Ana - Liliana - Gabriela - Renan - Bianca What a phenomenal experience. Friendly service, great food.

Must visit if in Lisbon!

The wait staff here was incredibly busy and still took the time to chat with our group. Even explaining the meaning of Praça for us. Food was incredible, and sitting outside near the street made for lovely ambiance. Would highly recommend!

Grab drinks and people watch

We were in the area visiting the LX Factory and were looking for a location to grab drinks, enjoy music, and people watch. We were also very hungry as we had just made it to Lisbon. This location had an excellent drink and food options,...as well as the outdoor seating.More

Nice enough bar for a drink.

Very much the tourist destination. LX is worth dropping into, on the way back from visiting Belem. This place allows you to people watch although the cars forcing their way through breaks the flow.

Our go-to place to eat in Lisbon

We are staying nearby and are vegetarians. We find we have a choice of several veggie dishes here so it has become our go-to place to eat. Food is good, fresh, tasty and nourishing. Not overpriced either.

Horrible service

I was there with my sister,we waited dishes for almost an hour,they mixed our dishes,later when we got the receipt,there were food which we didint eat,be careful what you pay for. If you are hungry,in a hurry,dont go there.More

Nice find !

Enjoyed a good outdoor lunch here by chance and really liked our selections. Nice varied menu with Friendly helpful staff. The Bacalau fish was prepared a bit differently and very tasty. Good burgers, gaspacho and soups. Hope to return in the future to try some...desserts. Clean bathrooms and Covid measures taken. Varied menu to suit all tastes.More
