We enjoyed the starters, nice and fresh meats, cheese , olives and bread. There were several specials of the day with... More

The restaurant is located in one of Lisbon's old neighborhoods. Decor is very nice, all white and picturesque. The food is excellent, some very typical Portuguese dishes included. The starters are a must! And all of this without emptying the wallet... Don't think about parking near by though. The streets are quite narrow and parking spaces scarce. Instead make use... More

We were told by our host that this place was the restaurant where locals were going for a nice typical meal with Fado on Wednesdays, so we asked her to book a table. We got there at 8:30pm, and were sited to a nice table. Our waiter brought us bread with butter and olives (3.80€), cheese (2.90€) and ham (around... More

Very good service. Nice food. Small place. Unconfortable chairs. We had fish there. The dishes were nicely served. Resonable prices.

A friend invited us, 8 in total, for dinner at Guarda Mor and the minute I walked in, I liked the place. We all greatly enjoyed the food which was perfectly cooked and nicely presented. Service was very friendly and attentive. After dinner we were entertained by 2 very good Fado singers accompanied by 2 excellent musicians. To sum up... More

Asked for an authentic Lisbon eatery and the Guarda-Mor was suggested. It was a Wednesday evening when they had fardo music. Locals were coming in and it was clearly a regular place for them. The owner and waiters could not have been more helpful. Great sea food, chocolate cake and local wine. The music was so intimate as the restaurante... More

We were told to try this restaurant by our hotel concierge. We had no idea what to expect. Walked into a sweet and very charming restaurant. Loved the feeling we had being there. It's on a quiet and quaint street. The owner was charming and helpful. It was one of the best meals we had in Portugal. I would highly... More

A friend suggested this restaurant for dinner and it was highly enjoyable. Very good and fresh seafood dishes including grilled fish and a classic Portuguese Seafood Stew. Good appetizers and desserts. Good service. Not too crowded or loud. Will definitely return.
