We were lucky to book the last available table for their Wednesday Fado evening and had a thoroughly enjoyable time. We received a warm welcome, attentive service, and good food and wine. The fado was very atmospheric and was well received by a good mix of locals and visitors. We really enjoyed our evening at this friendly little restaurant.

Had a fantastic meal here, service was excellent and friendly. We shared starters of fried green beans and cod fritters which were both delicious. All our mains were great too - prawns in lemon sauce, fish soup, octopus rice and Iberian pork. The puddings didn't disappoint either.

I have been to this charming restaurant on a number of ocassions, as a couple, in a larger group with friends and for a small birthday party. What a cosy, hidden gastronomic delight this is. Chef Jean Raymond welcomes you in the small bar lounge area, as soon as you arrive. Lovely to sit and relax, as if at home,... More

This evening should have been two. But she wasn't feeling well so I needed to find a small restaurant in Lisbon on Friday night that would serve one person well AND prepare a second meal I could take back to the hotel. Guarda Mor took on the task with a smile. Very impressive personal service, a less expensive fine red... More

I am not what one would call a "foodie" by any stretch of the imagination, but this may have been the best meal I have ever had in a restaurant! I kid you not - the food was divine, the red wine was delightful and the chocolate cake... trust me, just try the chocolate cake to top off your food... More

Slightly more expensive than our guide book said but the food was delicious and beautifully presented. And possibly the best bottle of red wine we'd had in a long time! We asked the owner and waitress about to break a note for change on the way back and they ended up insisting on us being driven to our hotel in... More

This was a very friendly, nice place with simple, traditional cuisine. It's small so also quite quiet. The waiters were very helpful and the food was genuine, nicely cooked and very reasonably priced. If you are staying in this area it's a good place to go. On Wednesday nights they have Fado, but we could only go on Sunday.

It's a small charming restaurant with good meals and decent prices. We were there at wednesday evening, and it was suprising, that in the middle of our meal the lights went down, and we experienced live Fado music with great singers and guitarists. It was really romantic, and beutiful! Thank you for this experience!
