I had the tofu and chestnuts dish, which came with very tasty spinach and rice. The veg croquetas are also quite tasty.
The vegan crumble is very wholesome and satisfying.
Overall a very nice meal, very generous portions!
As a non-vegetarian I was a little apprehensive about trying the food here but it didn't disappoint. Its basically a buffet laid out and they keep filling it up. All the food was excellent and the place was clean. The staff were ok but a...little slow especially as the place was only half full when we ate there. We were lucky to have a friend who spoke Portugese with us but I noticed some Americans close to us struggling to relay their questions to the waitress.
Definitely worth a visit as it was ridiculously cheap but dont expect 5 star service.More
My partner found this place online and it sounded like an interesting concept and the terrace looked nice.
We arrived to the nearly empty restaurant to be asked by the timid waitress by the door if we had a reservation. We said no but that...hopefully they could accommodate the 2 of us...
She said we would have to walk all the way through the restaurant and speak with the waiter by the terrace and ‘hopefully he can help’. Excuse me? We are customers coming to eat in your restaurant why are you sending us around to traipse about the place begging to be served??
We walked thorough past the rather dire looking Buffett. Not at all the lush tasty fresh vegetarian food we had expected especially looking at the prices. We found said waiter.
He looked at us like we were dirt on his shoe and walked us over to the back corner of the terrace to a huge row of empty tables which were not set up with cutlery. The terrace was again not even half full.
He walked off leaving us at the row of tables with no cutlery without saying a word.
We of course not wanting to waste another second in this dreadful restaurant promptedly walked out back through. The waiters back was turned as he slowly got out cutlery for us. We could have given him a nudge to say not to bother but we thought hey why not let him take it all the way back to our table right at the back and see that we had left.
Waiting staff need replacing and the food looked bad. Not worth bothering if you ask me.More
Some of the best food I’ve had. So many flavours in every bite! A vast range of options to choose from. I smashed 4 plates of food and food have kept going if it was up to my heart! HIGHLY recommend when in Lisbon!
After a few days of so so vegetarian food, it was nice to have dinner at this restaurant. It has many options, all freshly made. Friendly staff, good service, nice ambiance. In and outside dining options and they take reservations.

From the splendid garden and its cafe-kiosk to its restaurants, Príncipe Real is more than worthy of a visit and it won't let you down: its attractions include "Pavilhão Chinês" (one of the more eccentric interior designs you'll ever see), museums and a fantastic botanical garden. It's also a commercial neighborhood, and you can visit a renovated Palace, home of the Embaixada (embassy) trendy shopping center
with its cafes, art galleries and luxury shops... and even if you don't buy anything, take a look inside just for its marvellous interiors. On top of this, Príncipe Real offers a variety of places to eat: if you're in a hurry, drop by "Pizza a Pezzi"; and if you're not, taste the delicious Honorato hamburgers, Argentinian cuisine at La Paparrucha and also great, delicious Portuguese food at Tascardoso!
