We totally enjoyed the three our dining experience. The appetizers are served in a serial manner. The charge is €12 for all of the appetizers. But they are so good. And you get about five of them for that price. We each had a delicious entrée that was cooked perfectly. My dessert was the port wine poached pear. Wonderful! Definitely... More

Our table was out next to the courtyard, which provided a historical flavor to the romantic ambiance. Antonio Moita, one of the proprietors, stopped by our table to explain the menu. He clearly understands food and enjoys expressing the nuances and flavors. He listened to my passions about food and recommended the filet from the Bull, a beautiful center cut,... More

Friends plus the taxi driver plus the website of the restaurant make us think that is was a fancy, high quality and Romantic restaurant. The truth is that it is NOT. First, no candelabra like the website photo but an ugly cheap lantern. You are disturbed by a waiter every 45 seconds. There is no roof to the cloister and... More

The location of the restaurant is certainly a major part of the experience. Make sure you get a table overlooking the courtyard. The menu, as a number of reviewers have pointed out, needs to be understood. There are a fixed group of starters that are part of the deal. They are inventive and good value. Oysters are an optional choice.... More

Not amazing, but the atmosphere did a lot to enhance the experience. I recommend sitting along the side that is open, rather than the one that has a plexiglass partition (weather permitting, of course). The evening breeze was lovely and we were glad not to be separated from the air and elements. Service is good, nothing special. My one serious... More

It was not our first time and unfortunately over the years the quality/ price changed god the worst. The entries were very poor ( ex. the humus !!!!). The main courses were very good. The wine prices-too expensive: 5 x the price in the supermarket ( Catarina 5€ at el Corte Inglês, vs 25€ at the restaurant). The service was... More

After finally finding this place, as it's rather hidden away in the small streets of Lisbon, we finally found one of the best restaurants I've ever been to in my life. If you want true Portuguese food, look no further, it doesn't get better than this, and what's more, its incredibly affordable, almost to the point where you wonder if... More

A real hidden gem! What a wonderful restaurant in an old convent. It is a little tricky to find, but once you do it is amazing. You get about six appetizers for 12euro and they are all incredible. Our only problem was too much food! The scenery and setting is beautiful!

On the last night we had with our private guide Miguel, Oporto Shore Tours, we asked him to join us for dinner and wanted some place special. As with the rest of his recommendations, he picked a perfect, unique and special restaurant. The restaurant is inside in a former 17th century convent, which is refined but still very warm and...
