A must visit! Catered for our needs (gluten free, vegetarian and vegan) and in no way did we feel like we were settling with the food. The staff were great and the restaurant had a very local vibe.

We spent one night for dinner and had the Pizza “Figue” and “Porcini”. Well, tastes are different and some people were very negative about the thin pizza dough, but we really liked this style. It was tasty and delicious. Even with the BIO-tag on it,...the prices are a little too high. Anyway, a great place to go.More

I visited this pizzaria on a friend's recommandation, and I am a huge fan of four-cheese pizzas. Always the one I try first in a new place. Well, don't get fooled here. What is supposed to be a cheese extravangazza, with the nice melted flavors...of each different type of cheese, came up as a sad variation of a Margherita pizza with a topping made at 60% of tomate sauce and then each quarter sprinkled sparingly with bits of a different cheese. You end up with a pizza which mainly tastes tomate and you don't have any of the powerful and delicious mouthful combination of the different cheeses, which is key to any good four-cheese pizza! A friend of mine ordered the actual Margherita pizza there which looked the same, with the only difference being that the few bits of cheese put on 3 quarters of mine were from a different kind. A HUGGGGEEEE saving from the restaurant on the use of cheese, they just fill it with tomate sauce. And a huge disappointment on this 4-cheese pizza which costs 19,50€ and looks and tastes just like their Margherita pizza which only costs 10,50€. For me, that's RIP-OFF! One suggestion to the restaurant: either you drop your current 4-cheese pizza from your menu altogether, or you change its name to Special Margherita and drop its price to 13,50€ Max, or you learn how to prepare a real and proper 4-cheese pizza!!! For now, at least, put a huge warning on your current menu saying that your version of the 4-cheese has 60% tomate sauce topping - cause, otherwise > disppointment > frustration > bad bad bad reviews on TripAdvisor, which I trust will also help you to improve. But for me, first visit there = last visit!!! Other than that and to balance out this very focused review: nice service and simple but nice setting.More

I'm really sad to read your review, because I idealised the 4 Cheese Pizza in a way that you could flavour our amazing organic cheeses individually, and that is why they are not mixed. For a mixed version you can get our Tre Formaggi, more...More

Having given this joint a miss on previous visits to Lisbon due to its astronomical prices, one night I gave in to my craving for pizza (and my preference for all kinds organic) and decided to give In Bocca al Lupo a try. As I...was hungry, I ordered a starter of ‘courgette carpaccio’. What I was served were slices of courgette up to 2mm thick, drizzled with a bit of lemon juice (perhaps there was also a drop or two of olive oil, certainly not enough to lift the relatively flavourless raw veg). The response to my suggestion to use a peeler and slice the courgette lengthwise was ‘oh yeah we tried that but it didn’t work...’ IT didn’t work, or did THEY perhaps not know what they were doing?! Then one of the special pizze of the day, with mozzarella and ‘grilled tomatoes’. Some of those toms were grilled, others were not. Hmm. My main criticism, however, is that the toppings and base don’t come together as they should with an ideal pizza. The thing is more like a flakey flat bread with stuff thrown on top, very disappointing indeed. (It is quite ironic that Cafe Teheran a few meters away at Praça das Flores serve an excellent focaccia!)More

I'm really sad that you didn't like our food! It's made with excellent quality (and all organic) products, expertise and love. I'm the owner and chef and that day I was cooking myself. The carpaccio is a very subtle starter and is intencionally done the...More

a cosy, familiar pizzeria that worth to return to regularly. It is not easy to find a restaurant that everything matches my taste: the food, the ambience, the staff, etc. In Bocca al Lupo hits this level. Amazing pizza with great ingredients that actually have...flavours, coming from the wood fired oven, served by wonderful, friendly staff. Child friendly, slow food philosophy, a lot of locals' favoriteMore

Some of the best pizza We have ever had. And the strawberry ice cream, with black pepper and basil, is simply amazing. I don’t leave many reviews but this place is very special. And the staff were all utterly lovely.

We were proud to support these types of enterprises and we never thought we could find a completely "organic, seasonal, gourmet and homely" restaurant that enhanced flavors as their craft. The meal was amazing including desert. Because of their quality, they can be quite busy,...so try to reserve your table in advance. My spouse commented that was one of our best meals on our entire trip, the atmosphere was there and service tailored to meet our needs. Thin crust pizzas with local and sometimes exotic flavors.More
