We went here because we heard rave reviews about the chicken. An hour and 40 minutes was a LONG wait, but the food was just as good as we were hoping for. We got chicken, turkey skewers, chips, and rice... all of it was absolutely...More
First of all, the chicken, ribs, rice and crisps that we had were very tasty. So, there was no fault in the actual food.
However, we had to wait nearly 2 hours inside a small kitchen like restaurant, in a hot day. So the experience...More
I had a bad experience during a "tentative" Sunday lunch, which can be described as read in other negative reviews found in this topic. I also met the very rude cook/waitress/cashier (a single lady performing all these roles) and noticed the explicit preference for "local"...More
First of all, this is without doubt the best food my partner and I have potentially ever had. The chicken is juicy and tastes PHENOMENAL. We got it with the tomato and onion salad and also the garlic rice sides which are to die for....More
We arrived at Frangasqueira Nacional full of hope that we would get to experience Lisbon’s famous piri-piri chicken. Unfortunately what we got was a VERY disgruntled person working there who might be the rudest person I’ve ever encountered at a restaurant.
We got there around...More
Well worth the wait for food and seating (take away is an option however). Tasty sauces and the spicy option is recommended to try at least once! Friendly service though you will be put to rights if you dawdle! 😆 And definitely value for money.
Excellent food for take away! We went around 6 pm and were fortunate enough get our mean in under 30 min compared to other who had to wait for 60 min. The chicken was excellent, cheap for the quality. Rice was out this world, with...More
It’s the best grilled ribs, Piri Piri chicken, sausages and garlic rice ever!!! It’s strongly recommended. The owner and staff who are super nice and friendly!! We love this place so much! Definitely we will come back again!!
From the splendid garden and its cafe-kiosk to its restaurants, Príncipe Real is more than worthy of a visit and it won't let you down: its attractions include "Pavilhão Chinês" (one of the more eccentric interior designs you'll ever see), museums and a fantastic botanical garden. It's also a commercial neighborhood, and you can visit a renovated Palace, home of the Embaixada (embassy) trendy shopping center
with its cafes, art galleries and luxury shops... and even if you don't buy anything, take a look inside just for its marvellous interiors. On top of this, Príncipe Real offers a variety of places to eat: if you're in a hurry, drop by "Pizza a Pezzi"; and if you're not, taste the delicious Honorato hamburgers, Argentinian cuisine at La Paparrucha and also great, delicious Portuguese food at Tascardoso!
