This tiny restaurant is half-hidden up a tiny alley off Rua Cavaleiros; it's worth looking for. Pretty straightforward menu with "the usual" dishes, but the quality is very high and the prices are very low. We started with bread, anchovies, olives and cheeses – all excellent....More

Beco do Forno is the best portuguese restaurant in Mouraria for Seafood and Fish. It has very friendly staff and some cozy tables to sit outside in a small courtyard

We had our first (and one of the best) meal in Lisbon here. It's a traditional Portugese restaurant where the meals are made like they do at home. You won't find better value for your money. Sad to see tourists go to the common traps...More

We had a soup for 1,25€ and it was surprisingly good and then cod fish which was tasty and well served . All together with dessert and tea for 12€ per person. Besides, the service is nice and helpful. We definitely recommend the place.

Good and affordable food. Would recommend anyone in the area to drop by. It's hidden away off the Main Street but it's like a hidden gem.

We were walking and noticed this restaurant down a small corridor into a terrace. Almost no signs. We had our best meal in Portugal here. I had a traditional octopus stew that had octopus like i have never had it. So tender, almost like a...More

It was an oven where traditional flour were made for over a hundred years. Now is a traditional Portuguese restaurant with fresh food and family care. In a little alley on the left who climbs the Rua dos Cavaleiros coming from Martim Moniz, is a wonderful typical Lisbon restaurant. With homemade fresh food and a family environment. Enjoy eating a unique and soothing place, in one of the traditional paths to the Castelo de São Jorge.
