Very tasty food (grilled fish), correct wine for the price, overall above expectations (usually, the restaurants located in touristic areas do not offer a great quality) & fair service.

Just gross. Ordered “Solar do Duque Steak” and it was like a bad pub meal of ham, egg and chips plus a steak (a cheap, thin one cooked badly) and some scoops of what looked and tasted like vomit (the guy said it was traditional...More

Having stayed around the corner from this restaurant my wife and I decided to try it. It's a cozy little restaurant in the Chaido area and the food was good. However the service was lacking. The owner seemed to be having a concilatory meeting with...More

The restaurant offers typical portuguese courses, and the quality of the ingredients and the very fresh fish are great. There is only a limited number of tables (6-7) and the restaurant is very small with tables close to each other. As for the food, the...More

We came upon this restaurant on a terrace between flights of steps. When you sit down, you can see the St Jorges Castle on the hill. Clean, bright, varied menu with good service and out of the traffic. Great lunch.

"squeak", the nickname of a 16th century poet) offers
plenty of cafes, restaurants and bars where you can
stop for a cafe or cocktail, after exploring its
streets, shops, art galleries, theaters, museums and
viewpoints. It's also the home to the statue of the
famous statue of portuguese poet Fernando Pessoa,
