Good food, both taste and value, in the heart of Lisbon, with a fantastic rooftop view. We had a starter (to share), 2 mains and 2 dessert for 14.5 euros!

This place is seriously hard to find, and that was with GPS. There was no indication that a restaurant even existed on this little street. There's a doorway in an unadorned wall which leads to a darkish stairway that looks like it serves small offices....More

This is one of the most local and authentic meals I have had in lisbon. The quiet venue makes for a enjoyable lunch that came with a view if the Targus River. Truly a hidden gem.

Unpretentious, simple decor, few (but tasty!) choices... it's a canteen not a restaurant, right? I had pastel de massa tenra (fried dough with meat filling) the way my mother used to make it: light dough w/ delicious filling! The pigeons added more charm to the...More

We had done our research and found this cafeteria. We had two courses for 7.50 euros. We sat outside overlooking the river it was a lovely hot day and we really enjoyed it. We had a drink included in this. This is worth the walk.

Baixa, Rossio & Restauradores
A pending candidate to become a World Heritage Site,
