This is a small, intimate but authentic Fado venue. The food is good, reasonable 20 Euro minimum bill. Make sure you get a reservation because the place is quite small and always booked. I think you can often make reservations the day before. I loved...More

Service was very friendly. Music was nice indeed. We ordered the menu for 25€(Per Person) that had included a starter, two slices of bread, main dish, dessert and drink of choice. I ordered the olives and pickled celery, beans as starter, squid stew as main and...More

Although the pub/restaurant is rather small, most seating is on uncomfortable benches, and the food is just decent (but tasty) it’s really all about the Fado music experience. And on that Mascote da Atalaia delivers. With only 3 sets of 3 songs each the length...More

We reserved a table for three at this nice little restaurant. Rather busy but still fast service by a friendly waitress. Quite simple but good food and wine. The fadistas at this place are ok apart from one: Maria Emilia, what a great voice and...More

We loved this little place with its close proximity to the fado singers and musicians. The food was very good as was the wine. You can really feel the emotion of fado in such a charming place. Highly recommend!

This is a very cosy restaurant - we booked a table as there is very limited space. The menu was limited with some good seafood options. We had tuna, croquettes and the octopus and bean stew - all were delicious. There were two different singers...More

Fado was very good, but two songs at 7:30, 2 songs at 8:00 an 3 at 9:00. each sessions lasting about 10 minutes. I expected more. The place is small, and cramped. Our table for three would have been small for two. We had the...More

Lovely place with great food. I tried the swordfish and the tuna and they were both v.nice. You need to be quiet when the singers perform.
