We went here for drinks on 2 occasions, I wish we had eaten here too! There is an inner courtyard where we were, I had no idea of the upstairs with amazing view, however, we were there over new year so it was constantly busy.

Great food and excellent wine coupled with a wonderful view make this little jewel a great stop near Castelo de Sao Jorge. All our selections were delicious (party of 6), and I’d return in a heartbeat.

After visiting Castelo San Jorge a worthwhile stop itself, we enjoyed a glass of wine and some tapas fried of cakes and a lovely veggie salad with couscous. A wonderful spot with a view to rival the Castelo.More

It is a 20-25 minute ride into the center of town - easiest by taxis which are plentiful, including the return back to the airport. I recommend going to Baixa neighborhood in which restaurants are plentiful. If you get... More

Located right bellow the walls of Sao Jorge Castle, Chapito offers the visitor a dazzling sight over the city and the river. Chapito is non-profit and non-governmental organization for development, promoting social inclusion and professional training of youngsters, through the performing arts. Chapito practices a social economy financially supported by the production, creation and direction of shows/events, along with the income of public places such as our partner the restaurant Chapito a Mesa. There, you will enjoy the specialties of Chef Bertilio, a reference of the contemporary Portuguese cuisine. The environment is unique, combining three different Portuguese concepts in a single space. You may then choose to eat indoors or outdoors, on the belvedere area or the terrace, regarded as one of the fourteen best in the world, and referenced by different international tourist agencies.
