Visited in March- superb location on the Square. Well looked after by Alex. Good and varied mix of seafood, tapas and beef. Codfish is the famous local dish. Well worth a visit. At a better time of the year- it would be very nice to...eat outside.More

I have nothing but good things to say about this place! If you’re in the area then definitely a must-try! The food was delicious (took the codfish traditional Portuguese dish and it tasted exquisite), the service was brilliant (very informative, attentive but also knew when...to step back) and the drinks, well nothing bad here to say as well. Honestly a great option, I’d say pop in just for the smiles of the staff and you’ll be taken care of in the very best way - especially if it is Alex and Cleber working, they were amazing! 5/5More

Served by the amazing Alex and Cleber tonight! Great experience and great service! It was a windy and chilly day and they offered us a seat inside, despite all seating being set up outside. Offered us the music we liked. During dinner the staff had...the right balance of giving privacy and being attentive. Very approachable staff and helpful in deciding what to have and eat! Finally, gave us ginjinha ON THE HOUSE!More

Such a lovely meal this evening, Ikbal was every so polite when he served us and João gave us the Portuguese hospitality. Food was so tasty I didn’t even want to share a bit of my mushroom risotto (not something I would usually rave about,...but OMG it was delicious), my husband being Portuguese went for the traditional Bacalhau with the egg full of runny yoke in the middleMore

The food was ok, but we had the impression that it was rather the staff which was choosing our meals and drinks with somewhat of an attitude and without listening to our needs. The rating at 3 is an average between 5 for food and...1 for serviceMore

We are here as 7 female friends celebrating a special birthday. The food was exceptional. I had the confit of duck and it was superb. The cocktails hit the spot. Food value and great quality. God brought our friend a special complimentary dessert with a...candle for her birthday which was a lovely gesture. Highly recommended.More

This restaurant is set within a beautiful square - Praça do Comércio. On a sunny day we sat outside and enjoyed our first beers of the holiday in the sun. The complementary bread that was brought out was very welcome & the fish main was...delicious. However, the chicken on purple mash that my husband had is to be avoided! The chicken was still pink and rubbery. The purple mash was purple... which should be questioned and discarded. Stick to bread, beers & the fish dishes on your visit.More

Dear customer, we received your comment. "The purple mash" as mentioned is made of purple sweet potatoes, excellent in vitamins and with a higher fiber content in relation to common potatoes, and by the way one of our specialties. Regards João Afonso Pereira

Amazing lunch experience! Delicious food, our waiter Alex was very friendly and gave us good recommendations. The ambiance is great with a beautiful view of the “Praça do Comércio.” I ordered the crispy duck with potatoes and zucchini and I highly recommend it. Great portion...and flavor for price.More

Hi. I believe this is comment is very unfair. After we finished our lunch the waiters friendly asked us to write a review if we had enjoyed the experience. As we did, we had no problem writing it.
