We really enjoyed our dinner at the Taberna. We loved the dish with chanterelle mushrooms with foie gras and the spicy udon noodles. The service was great and the people were very friendly. Go early and get name on list! We would definitely return if...More

I ate here by myself tonight and the waiters and staff were very welcoming and kind to me. I have the Oyster tartare which was full of flavor and tasted very fresh. I also ordered the clams which were the best clams I have ever...More

So my partner and I had planned to have dinner here based off a recommendation from my sister. My sister had mentioned there can be a long wait, so we got there around 6pm (which is quite early for dinner by European standards). We were...More

What the hell is up with those ridiculously inflated ratings? Every course tasted like what a hungover and untalented apprentice might have concocted on a bad day. Lukewarm flavourless soup, rubber-like octopus thrown on bland rice, a tiny piece of rather unspectacular goat cheese conveniently...More

we really enjoyed our meal here - shared three tapas plates between my husband and I (grilled swordfish, a green bean & mushroom dish, and fried goat cheese) and each got our own dessert. Not sure I can accurately describe my husband's dessert - it...More

Be early to put your name on the list. It's worth it. Delicious food, courteous staff. We had the daily suggestions but the traditional dishes looked great as well. Small recommendation when reserving, make sure you don't get the table next to the door.

It was our last night in Lisbon and we wanted a memorable dinner. We waited an hour and a half but wanted to go here as had heard good things. The food was good but not remarkable and the service was indifferent. We had to...More

Hi, As mentioned above - its a "First come first serve" basis... its a real small place so you could be waiting in line ... If you want a place where reservations are accepted I would recommend Bairro do Avillez
